Chapter 29 - The aftermath.

The morning sunlight found a gap between my curtains, and directly blinded my eyes. I rolled over to the other side and groaned. Eventually after some time of going in-and-out of sleep, I decided to finally open my eyes, and head straight for a refreshing shower.

My thoughts naturally consisted of what was Feilips reaction, and I felt an excited feeling in my stomach, because everything went as planned. I even imagined him running to me, saying sorry. That thought was worth millions to me, and made me feel ever so satisfied.

Some time later, I lazily left my room, thinking of a large breakfast to tame my growling stomach. My thoughts were continuously occupied by Feilip, and I jumped after almost walking into Sombra. I smiled, however soon realised that he was frowning, and in fact he looked furious.

"Sombra...?" I wondered uncertainly.

"How could you have been so reckless?!" He demanded, leaving me speechless. I had no idea what had got into him.

"Wh -?"

"Follow me. Now." He ordered coldly, and left. I nervously followed him to his office, and frantically thought about his behaviour, forgetting about my growling stomach.

He sat at his chair, but I didn't dare to sit. Instead, I stayed standing up, in front of his desk. There was a short moment of silence as this all happened, however that moment felt as though it lasted longer than it should have.

Sombra then opened a small draw under his desk, and pulled out what seemed to be a newspaper. He suddenly slammed it against the desk, making a huge noise that made me flinch. I quivered and looked at the newspaper, and I realised what it was about.

The title was bold and huge, and it read: Coffee Morning... Hottie Evening! Just underneath that title, was exactly what I wanted to see. The fruit of my plan, the success.

In fact, it was better. Feilips facial expression made the whole thing ten times better, as he wore the black bunny maid suit. I failed to resist falling to the floor from laughter.

Suddenly there was another loud bang, as Sombra once again slammed his hoof down on the table. It really seemed like it was about to break, and this made me stop laughing. Sombra seemed absolutely furious about it, and I was actually starting to be scared of him a little. My ears flattened as I sat myself up.

"Have you any idea what you have done?!" He demanded.

"I... I had my revenge." I frowned, trying to sound confident about it.

"Revenge? If you were upset about what he did to you after the Reawakening, you should have come to me and not do things lika that!" He spat angrily.

"But... Sombra it wasn't just that..." I added, but my voice sounded weak.

"It has been just under a week since things between us have... escalated, and this is what you do?!" He demanded. I had no idea how he knew that this was my doing.
