The following morning started like any other. I woke up early, and quietly made my way to the kitchen where I'd usually get something to eat, however the difference was, that the kitchen was empty, except for the King.

"Good morning Sombra." I muttered awkwardly as I made my way through the kitchen, to sit on the other side of the table. I knew the king watched my moves closely, which made me feel uncomfortable.

"[YN] how are you?" He smiled.

"Im good, thank you." I replied, noticing there were two dishes in front of him. One was empty and one still had a cover. I didn't have to say anything about them for Sombra to know that I was curious.

The King used his magic to slowly push the covered dish in my direction, and lifted the cover after it arrived in front of me. There was a delicious hay and cheese salad inside.

"I made sure you had breakfast ready by the time you wake up." He smiled making me frown.

"Okay thanks, you really didn't have to." I said awkwardly.

"But I wanted to." He smiled even more.

"Are you okay?" I questioned him, sounding very awkward myself.

"Yes, of course. Just eat." He continued to smile. That made me feel really uncomfortable, but soon the King lifted his empty dish using his magic, and levitated it across the room to the sink, where the maids would later clean it up.

I started to slowly eat the hay and cheese salad, and soon noticed that the hay was precisely cut, and the cheese was perfectly creamed to the hay.

"Thats a fantastic salad." I commented after just swallowing a mouthful of hay and cheese.

"Because I ordered it to be like this." He replied confidently. I silently rolled my eyes. Soon the salad was finished, and I sat back in my chair, as I watched the King levitate the empty dish over to the sink.

"So." He started, looking a bit more serious. I knew there was more to it than just a nice breakfast. I thought. "Will you tell me, what you did not yesterday?" He asked sounding very curious.

"OH. So thats what this all was about." I laughed with dissapointment.

"What?" He frowned. "I made sure you had a nice breakfast, without even having to wait for it to be prepared. Can I not ask what yesterday was about?" He sounded a little hurt.

"No! Don't get me wrong Sombra, I just decided that I do not want to talk about it." I explained.

"Right." He sounded dissapointed. The King then lifted his flank off the chair, and started walking around the kitchen. He looked very troubled. "But what if this is something important. What if that is something that might affect our friendship. I really find it stressful, it could be anything. What if you don't like me anymore? And if you don't like me, then I will not have support. Without support, I will never progress, and without progress I won't change, and if I do not change - " Sombra suddenly walked into the fridge and hit his head. "Ouch!"

"Hahahaha!" I fell onto the floor laughing.

"That is not funny [YN]!" Sombra muttered angrily as he rubbed his forehead. I just finished off laughing as I got myself up and sat on the chair again.

"Our friendship is not ending." I reasurred him, as I continued to giggle.

"Oh. Then what could it possibly be?" He asked. The stallion was calmly standing in the middle of the kitchen.

"Just don't worry, anyway where are the Maids?" I asked curiously.

"I gave them a job to do." He replied mysteriously.
