I woke up the next day, feeling ready for more progress with Sombra who was now meant to be taking care of the guards shifts. I lazily climbed off my bed and headed for the bathroom where I had a refreshing shower. I brushed my mane just before leaving the room, and casually started strolling down the familiar castle corridors.

I came across the throne room, where I noticed Sombra, who was levitating a few scrolls using his magic. He seemed to be concentrating on them a lot, since he didn't even notice me walking into the room.

"You seem troubled." I commented in a caring tone. The King lifted his head up as he finally realised I was there.

"Hello." He sighed. "I will not lie, I do actually have a dilema. Sombra confessed." I sat opposite to the King at the large table.

"Whats troubling you?" I wondered. The King stopped levitating his scrolls after he neatly arranged them on the table.

"There is a little something that I have to attend at the soldier and guard barracks today, so I thought I might aswell announce all of the changes there." Sombra explained.

"What is the problem then?" I wondered.

"Well. In the South-East end of the Empire, there are slums filled with Rebels. I do not go there myself if there is no necessity. Unfortunately there is now a reason, and I must travel there pronto, and deliver notices to specific residents. Both events are very important, and I do not know which one to attend since both of them will take a couple of hours." He explained.

"Oh. I could go to the barracks for you." I offered.

"No. They are not familiar with you giving orders, and it would be more beneficial if I were to do it myself."

"Then I can go to the slums." I shrugged.

"Are you crazy!? It is far too dangerous." Sombra warned.

"Oh come on let me be helpful for once." I moaned.

"No, neither of these tasks can be performed by you." Sombra protested confidently. I frowned at the King.

"Are you saying this because I am a mare?" I scowled.

"No. You are the strongest mare I know, you even did something that Anya failed to do, but I just cannot let you do those tasks." He explained. I was surprised that he was confident enough to mention Anya, but his words made me happy.

"Then what will you do?" I asked.

"I suppose my guards and soldiers are more important, and I will travel to the slums tomorrow. I just need to hope they do not cause enough trouble there." He explained. I nodded to approve the Kings idea. "Well it is time for me to go." He said.

"Good luck!" I cheered and watched the King go round the corner and out of sight. I then looked around the room. The small saddlebag with all the Royal notices was neatly placed by the table on the floor.

I put a hoof to my chin, and started to think about a certain idea. If I were to deliver the notices for him, Sombra wouldn't have to worry about the slums tomorrow. Anyway, I have survived a lot, even living in exile for a long time. A couple of Rebels should not be a problem.

I lifted my flank off the chair, and equipped the saddlebag. Slowly, I made my way through the castle and headed for the exit. I was looking around to see if the King was still here, but he seemed to be gone. I didn't want him seeing me with the saddlebag because then it would be no surprise to him.
