When I woke up, I was upset to find that the bed was still empty. Sombra clearly hadn't shown up at all, and he spent the night somewhere else. It slightly angered me, because instead or facing his issues he only avoided them.

After taking a shower and getting my hair brushed, I made my way to the dining hall. A couple maids served me breakfast. Wondering where I could find Sombra, I ate all five of the blueberry pancakes they made. They were so scrumptious!

After eating the last bite, I happily sighed and sat back in my chair. At that moment, Sombra suddenly appeared at the doorway. He looked at me sternly, showing that he was still resentful about yesterday.

I decided I was in too much of a good mood to let him ruin it, so I simply looked away in the other direction, staring at the large crystal windows. I wanted him to say something first to show him that despite all the authority he has, family is not something he is simply allowed to control.

There was a moment of silence between us. My heart pounded as I had no idea what Sombra would say. If he would say anything at all.

"Nevermind then." I heard him suddenly say bluntly. By the time I turned around to him again, he was already gone.

I groaned and muttered in frustration. "Petty."

A maid showed up to collect my plate. I thanked her and left the room. Despite barely interacting with Sombra at all, I already felt much worse than I did when I woke up.

I wandered down the corridor, thinking about what I can do to make Sombra realize the pain that he is causing to his family. I still had Dimitrius's offer in the back of my mind. I wondered what kind of help he would be able to give.

I decided that Dimitrius had a point when he said that bringing Saber along might make Sombra even more angry. It would make it look like I am entirely siding with Saber, instead of trying to help them both. I knew I would have to go by myself then.

During the day, our councilor came to me saying that he couldn't find Sombra anywhere, and that a few ponies request an audience with either me or Sombra. I groaned, because Sombra was always the public figure of the Empire. I liked staying to the side and watching him take care of things; he looked so sexy whenever he was focused and taking care of matters.

I followed the councilor to the ponies. It turned out that Edmul and Altina (the couple that owned Crystal Coin bank) had an issue with a pony named Silver Taps because they accused her of stealing precious documents.

I met up with all of the ponies just outside the bank. Edmul and Altina looked angry, whilst Silver Taps looked very concerned. I turned to Edmul first and asked him about how things went. He looked sideways at Silver, and then answered. He spoke in a sophisticated way, raising his nose a lot.

"Well... Yesterday evening I left my office at sundown as usual, but as I was about to leave I realised I'm missing an important folder. Silver Taps was just passing by, so I asked her to bring it, and she did. However the next day, important documents that should have stayed in the office, were gone. If you think she accidentally took them with her, she didn't, I checked. She must have stole them!" Exclaimed Edmul.

"Don't accuse, Edmul." I said shortly, and then turned to Silver Taps. Edmul had a point, this did really look suspicious.

"So Silver Taps, tell me how this all went." I said.

Silver taps looked at the floor for a moment trying to remember everything, and then proceeded to tell.

"Just as Edmul has said. He asked me to bring him a folder he forgot, and when I went to the office I found the folder quickly and just took it to him. I swear I didn't take anything else!" She squeaked nervously.
