The following days flowed casually. Sombra continued to make little steps into being a better King, and I was glad to be able to walk and accompany him as he did so.

About a week after the lovely surprise in the park, I found myself sitting alone in the throne room, reading a book named 'Adventures of Carl the cat.'. I knew that Sombra was out doing some business and he would have returned shortly.

The book turned out to be quite interesting so I ended up being really concentrated on it. Eventually the King arrived, and I didn't even notice him enter the room.

"Hello." His familiar voice sounded. I popped my head up and smiled when I saw the King. As per usual, he wore his full armour on a daily basis, making him look more as though he was ready to go to the battle field instead of an ordinary day.

"Hey." I replied, as Sombra sat at the opposite side of the table and sighed as he relaxed in the chair.

"I really need a rest." He moaned.

"I could massage you, if that would help." I offered, secretly hoping he'd say yes. Sombra looked surprised.

"If that would not be a problem for you?" He wondered.

"No." I smiled.

We then travelled to the spa room, which I was still surprised that they had something like that at the castle. Sombra again took his armour off, revealing his body which made me shiver and blush every time I saw it, but this time I managed to hide it.

Soon I found myself being lifted by his magic just as last time, and he placed on his flank just above the tail. I applied the lotion and massged him, and I could tell he enjoyed it.

"Im curious about something." I suddenly started.

"Hm?" Sombra hummed. I giggled because he was so relaxed that he couldn't even open his mouth.

"Where is the crystal heart?" I asked suddenly. Sombra took a moment before replying.

"Somewhere in this castle, does it matter?"

"No, but we mignt eventually need it again." I suggested.

"Ill take it out when we will be sure of it, I do not want anypony using it before I am ready, if you understand." He explained. My face blanked as I realised he was right.

"Yeah. Why didn't you destroy it then?" I wondered.

"Even though I can cast a spell to protect the Empire from the cold, I was never certain how successful it would be, and whether it would have lasted as long as I needed it to be. So I left the crystal heart unharmed, just in case. Seems I am lucky that I never got around to destroying it, because that would mean I would have to continue using dark magic no matter what." He mumbled.

"Oh." I looked surprised. "You are very clever." I pointed out.

"Thank you, but I was simply taking precautions. Anyway, such a powerful artefact would take a lot of power to destroy, and I must admit, I was always too lazy to be bothered to figure out how to do it." He chuckled.

I giggled at the Kings confession, since I never really imagined him admitting to be lazy. I then continued to massage the King for some time after the little conversation, and eventually I could feel his muscles relax again.

I hopped off the bed and cleaned up, as Sombra dressed himself up in silence. I carefully watched him from the corner of my eye, but made sure he did not notice it.

"I do not have anything planned for the rest of the day. What do you reckon we should do?" He wondered calmly. I put my hoof to my chin and started to think. Suddenly, a brilliant idea came to my mind.
