[Sombra x Reader] Rise of the Legend. ✔️

Chapter 10 - One favour.

King Sombra and I, sat in silence for another fifteen minutes or so. My eyes soon started feeling heavy and I yawned. Suddenly the King lifted his flank up and travelled in the direction of the door, but just before he was about to leave, he stopped.

"Oh, I almost forgot." He started. "Follow me." The King ordered calmly. I wondered what might the stallion want at such a late time, I was actually a bit worried. We travelled many corridors, passing a few patrolling guards and many paintings and old tapestries on the way.

"So what is your name, mare?" The King finally asked. The question really annoyed me because I was here for what seemed like a very long time, and he still didn't know my name.

"Oh. So now you ask me." I made sure I sounded really annoyed and I rolled my eyes. The King suddenly came to a halt and I almost walked into his flank.

"I wanted to be kind to you. But all you do is disrespect me when I try to make things better for you." The stallion sounded really angry.

"What I didn't -"

"Shut up!" The King roared. He then left in the opposite direction. "Stay away from me."

Not this time. I thought. I then used my wings to fly above the stallion and land in front of him, forcing him to stop.

"I'm sorry, your majesty. I got carried away." I spoke fast before he had time to be even more angry. The King paused. He was breathing heavily, clearly trying to fight his anger. "I'm [YN], and its, nice to meet you." I tried to say something kind, hoping he would calm down. Tah dah! The King seemed to have relaxed.

"[YN]." He repeated sounding interested but still quite angry. "Nice." The stallion said once again turning around. Nice? Thats all he would say.. disgusting behaviour. I thought. I followed the King through the dark corridors, until we stopped by a door. I never been inside it so I didn't know what to expect.

The King used his magic to open the door. It was a bedroom. It was large, lit with candles and it was really cosy in general. The bed was huge, and the colour of the room was in general dark blue crystals with some gold décor.

"I thought you might be unhappy staying in a medical recovery room, so I got you something more permanent." He explained calmly. My eyes widened as I realised this was now MY room.

"Oh my! This is really...?" I gasped.

"Yes this is now your room." He finished as he rolled his eyes. I galloped over to the middle of the room, and jumped a few time from excitement. The King saw me being over-excited because of a room, so he rolled his eyes and tried to leave quickly.

"I will leave you to it." He said whilst leaving.

"Wait!" I called just before he closed the door with his magic. His head looked back inside.

"Yes?" He asked curiously. I suddenly blushed forgetting what I was about to say.

"Thank you." I said awkwardly. The King left without replying. Clearly kindness was not something he was familiar with. I wondered how he would have acted near Flutter Shy, since she displayed that trait perfectly.

After taking a warm shower, I leaped into my new bed which felt so luxurious, and just before drifting off to sleep, I wondered about the King and his mood swings. How he would threaten to kill me one second and tickle me or give me a whole room the next.

I awoke the next morning feeling as rested as ever. A small part of me was looking forward to seeing King Sombra today, and I hated it. He was a murderer, a tyrant and a pervert. I rubbed my head with my hoof at this thought.
