Chapter 19 - Do it all for you.

Waking up the next day turned out to be incredibly painful. The medicine given to me by Barnaby stopped working overnight, and I squealed in pain as I tried to shift into a comfortable position.

Suddenly there door was opened, and a guard entered after he heard my squeal. The guards coat was a very light gray, and he had a deep blue mane with magenta eyes. He clearly guarded my door all night to make sure I was Okay. This made me feel quite happy.

"Anything you need Miss [YN]?" He asked in a deep raspy voice. I looked at the stallion oddly for a moment.

"How do you know my name?" I wondered.

"Uh, his Majesty mentioned it as he was giving me the order to guard your door. I did not mean any wrong." He apologised. I was surprised at how respectfully the guard treated me.

"Its fine." I sighed. "Would you be able to inform Sombra that Im no longer asleep?" I asked.

"As you wish." He slightly bowed his head and then left. I continued to stare at the door for a moment, because I was really confused about the level of respect.

Soon the door was opened again, and I was dissapointed to see the guard come in, instead of Sombra.

"His Majesty is busy at the moment, but will make his way here as soon as it is possible Miss. Is there anything else you need? " He informed. I looked at the stallion for a moment.

"Whats your name?" I wondered. The stallion looked bewlidered as he clearly did not expect this question.

"Feilip, Miss. My name is Feilip." He answered. I noticed that he was a bit embarrased.

"May I know why are you being so respectful to me Feilip? Not to sound rude or anything, but Im just not used to this." I explained.

"His majesty talked about you in the barracks yesterday. He did mention that you are important and deserve respect." He confessed, making me blush. I wondered why Sombra didn't tell me any of this, but the thought made me smile anyway.

"Thank you Feilip, thats all." I smiled. Feilip turned around on the spot and as he was about to go to the exit, but the door was opened by Sombra who entered hastily. He was clearly happy to see me, but raised his eyebrow when he realised that Feilip was there too. The guard froze on the spot after bowing to his King, since he did not know what to do.

"Hello." I spoke first. Sombra walked past the guard as though he wasn't there.

"Hey." He smiled at me. Feilip quietly left the room. "How are you feeling?" Sombra wondered curiously.

"It hurts!" I squealed suddenly. Sombra looked really worried. He suddenly turned to the shelf at the side of the room, and pulled another flask with a brew from within it. He then used his magic to levitate a needle and transferred some of the liquid into it.

"It will only hurt for a moment." He informed me, as he continued to measure out the liquid.

"Are you sure you can do this instead of Barnaby?" I asked timidly. Sombra looked sideways at me, and raised his eyebrow.

"Certain." He said.

The stallion then stood beside me, and gently pierced my shoulder with the needle, and ejected the brew. The effects mirrored yesterday's, I instantly felt weaker, but the pain faded away.

"Any plans for today?" I asked weakly. Sombra frowned, giving himself a minute to consider everything.

"As much as I don't want to, I should go to the slums and make sure things are okay there. They have been casuing trouble lately." He informed.
