Chapter 18

It's been a week since I've been discharged. Mom is still mad at me, she barely speaks to me now. I don't see the problem with cutting.. I'm suicidal and cutting is the first priority for her. I still can't believe she yelled at me like that.. She wasn't smart enough to take my blades away though.. C'mon mom.. Find some senses.

Troy texts me and asks what happened at the hospital with my mom, I don't really wanna talk about it, because it's the first time she's gotten seriously mad at me. I want orange leaf, orange leaf cheers me up. I hear the doorbell. I get up, sneaking past mom, to get the door, thinking its a stranger trying to sell us stuff, but it isn't.

"Danielle, you didn't have to.." I say, looking at the huge cup of orange leaf. She remembered. She glared. I know her glares, they mean "I don't care." We ate our orange leaf and got caught up, luckily I'm right-handed. So, I could eat.

I got my doctors note and for the first time in a while didn't say bye to mom, or dad, before leaving to school. I have to have someone help me on the bus, considering I'm in a wheelchair, our bus is handicapped and all, but I needed some help. I heard someone ask what happened. I knew that voice, I knew it well.. Marcus Michaels. Has he not heard it yet? It's been on the news and everything. Considering Marcus is my ex boyfriend, I didn't want to answer, but I did. "I got hit by a car.." I said, quietly, not proud of that sentence. His smile turned into a frown, and he signed my cast. He put "Stay Strong~Marky" Marky.. What I called him when we dated. Marky Mike. Troys bus stop is up, I smile, and scooch in the chair, hitting my leg on the chair. I whimper, and scream "Ouch!" Troy kisses me as soon as he gets on the bus, and signs my casts, oh how I love him

I wore this shirt to school, it said "I feel like I've been hit by a bus." It used to be my favorite shirt, I love bringing it back out, because right now, it explains me, literally.
