"Bakit tayo nandito?" My Ara asked. I smiled at her.

"Surprise!" She rolled my eyes making me grind more. Damn.

Nauna akong pumassok sa rancho ng mansion ng mga Carreon.

"Oh my gosh! Yuan!" Sigaw nya habang patakbo sa kabayo nya. Umiling lang akong napangiti.

She acts like a child yet I like her.

"Ang tanda na ni Yuan!" She giggled. I went to her and brush Yuan's hair.

"I like you to meet another horse." Saad ko at pinaharap sya sa kwadra na katabi ni Yuan. "This is Malei, Yuan's son." Nanlaki ang mata nya at napatingin sa hindi pa kalakihang kabayo.

"Oh my gosh! Totoo nga ang sabi ni Bry!" I nodded Slowly, I think she's too close with Bryan. "Ikaw nag-alaga?" Tanong nya. Ngumiti ako pero umiiling.

"I was busy."

She looks so innoccent and she was too young to have a tradegy like that..

I was bewitch with her innocent face. Iyong mukhang di makabasag pinggan? Everything in my life is settled. Siguro ay sinanay kami ni mama ng ganoon. I believe in my mother. She wants everything for us to be settled and perfect.

But when she know that I wasn't doing what she want she got disapppointed in me. I can't blame her, she wants a good lady for me.. a perfect lady and she thinks it's that kid with innocent face and bratty attitude but my younger self fell for a caring and simple lady..

"I love you.." I whispered out of nowhere. She looked at me with her face heated. I chuckled a little.

"Fool." She laugh mocking me. "I'm inlove with you Nealle." Ara said and jump on her horse.

Damn.

"Ma, I wanted to be a doctor!" One morning in the mansion I heard Chad.

"No Chad, you're just like your kuya! Don't disappoint me!" Mama held her chest. "Are you inlove too?!" She said mockingly.

"Ma, it's a profession! I swear I'm not like kuya!"

Right, this was the time when I did not choose politics and choose an industry where I get to be close with Ara. I didn't heard mama. I look down to them. She's already sitting on the couch taking deep breathes. I gasped. I met Chad's eyes but he look back at mama.

"Ma, I will not enter politics.. but please let me choose who I want to be." He said coldly. "I'll follow whatever you want just let me have this." He said. I shook my head.

Fool.

"Don't disappointment like what your kuya did. Love.. foolish." She said mocking me. "Your kuya's downfall will always be girls."

Tila tumatatak sa isip ko ang mga narinig ko kay mama. And when I saw Arabella again may mas gusto akong patunayan kay mama.

My love for Arabella won't be my downfall. It'll be my strength.

I won't be like her, she who entered a loveless marriage for success.

I will be successful with the person I love.

"Yuan!" I looked at Ara. Her hair is dancing with the wind as her horse run. I can smell the see breeze and hear the ocean waves crashing on the shore. The sun is setting and infront of me is my love.

I smiled. Look ma, I didn't fail. I have Arabella besides me. We'll grow together and have adventures tkgether. We'll travel around the world together and grow old.. and love each other.

I shook my head.

Nakatakas man sya noon sa akin, ngayon ay hindi ko na hahayaan iyon. I won't repeat my mistakes. A decade without her is too painful. I don't think I can handle another.

"Slow down!" I shouted. She glanced at me and smiled.

Behind her is ocean with the sun setting. It was the most beautiful view.

Kahit ilang pagkakamali ang magawa mo I'll always forgive you. Kung ang kapalit ng galit ko ay ang pagkawala mo, wag nalang. I'll just love you.
