Chapter 12: Open the walls, play with your dolls

After that bath, all I wanted to do was take a nice long nap yet the screeching of the mosquitoes kept me up, and it wasn't even summer yet.

I flopped out of bed angrily, stomping upstairs to check on the racket.

I walked past the guys' rooms yet the sound was still further down. Then, at the end of the corridor, I finally found where the sound was coming from. The door was ajar, a pale indigo light peaking out if the crack.

I leaned close, careful to be quiet and listened.

"HOW DARE YOU ENTER THIS ROOM!?" yep, that was Kanato alright. "LEAVE YOU HALF BLOOD!" I paused. 'Half blood?'

I heard a soft whisper but couldn't make out what the other party was saying. "...sorry... have...find...Karl..." I scrunch my face, trying to listen but that was the most I could make out. Kanato seemed even more enraged. "YOURE TRYING TO TAKE AWAY MY DOLL?! I WILL KILL YOU HALF BLOOD!" He screetched and by now I was surprised none of the other brothers had heard. Then it struck me, 'maybe Kanato is a big Melanie fan...'

Then, another muttered whisper. "...leave...goodbye..." God this was infuriating but I got the gist of it. I backed off only to land on a creaky floorboard. I cringed as I heard the boy respond. "WHOS THERE?!" I froze, I wanted to leave, I needed to but how could I when at best he'd see me running down the corridor and snap my neck upstairs. I tried to speak up but a cold hand covered my lips.

I was pulled back by someone I couldn't see. That person pulled me to the open door of the next room and pushed me out of sight into the room. Only then did I get sight of the eldest Sakamaki. 'Shu?'

He glared at me to ensure my silence before leaning against the wall separating the two doors.

I could hear the other room's door slam open and Kanato's huff when he saw Shu. "Oh, it's only the sloth." I could almost hear how tightly he wad clutching that poor stuffed bear. "You're loud." Shu mumbled and somehow Kanato remained silent.

"Right." Then the door slammed shut.

'Even though he doesn't respect him he still listens to his orders?' The blonde how turned back to me. "Thanks Shu but why did you-?" He cut me off by grabbing my arm. "Hey...!" I whisper-yelled, careful to not get Kanato's attention through the thin walls.

"Shu...!" He laid in the coffin, pulling me along with him. "Lewd man, throwing yourself on me like that." I could practically hear his lips tug upwards into a shit-eating grin. "Thirsty hoe..." I grumbled and his smile dropped. He turned to his side, trapping me in his arms. "Hey...!" I twisted and turned but to no avail. The space was far too small to get away from him.

"Ugh fine, but I swear if you do anything your stupid mp3 player is getting it." I grumbled, deciding to have my nap now.

He grunted half-asleep, obviously not taking my threat seriously. "I swear I will! I'm stronk enough to BREAK NOKIAS!" I huffed, turning away from the blonde.

"Stronk...?" He muttered softly.

When I woke up...

I was in a less than flattering position....

But I wasn't on my bed.

Heck I was in some weird coffin.

Shu wasn't beside me either.

I walked to Shu's room mirror and rubbed my face on my sleeve. I ran my hands through my hair until it was slightly less bird nest like and opened the door.

Normally i'd be ambushed by one of the triplets and Subaru would've been yelling about something by now. I couldn't even smell Reiji making his 'Eggs Bennedict Cumberbach posh posh™'.

I slowly crept down the stairs.
