They were in no shape to fight for long.

I had to hurry.

Shu lunged first, dodging most of Richter's attacks. Richter seemed sloppier than before, the wound I made on him clearly inhibiting his movements.

'I guess that missed stab wasn't useless after all...'

Quickly I glanced around the room.

Subaru's knife had been scattered to the left side of the room.

Before I could head to grab it, however...

"GRHHH-!!" I turn to the noise, Richter had been thrown to the floor thanks to Subaru joining Shu in the fight.

I watched as a grey brick slid across the stone floor.

"Hurry up Chibimushi!" Ayato called as he flew forward to join the fray.
