"Ahhh, but I'm still hungry..." Kou sighed, leaning back in his chair. Ruki had finally gotten everyone to their seats and I was right next to Ruki with thr three other boys across the table from us. "I could use more food too," Yuma sighed, placing a hand on his stomach.

The plates had already been demolished of food by the time Ruki and I arrived. "Dang, where do you guys pack all that food away..." I mutter, looking at all of their fit and lean frames. 'I eat like one dango and I feel like I've gained 10kg...' I could hear Kou snicker. I shot him a playful glare.

"Well," I started, "I bought some stuff for pasta a while back, I could make some." I suggest, Kou's face lighting up.

"I-its not anything fancy like vongole bianco but I can make a mean alfredo?" I laugh, knowing how much of the fancy seafood pasta the idol could pack away. "How can we trust livestock to prepare our food?" Ruki spoke rather plainly, as though it was some well known fact. "I think you forget Gordon Ramsay is human too," I mutter, "and he never forgets the lamb sauce..." I whisper the last part to myself but it seems Yuma and Kou heard me, both of them giving me an incredulous look before bursting into giggle fits.

"Well- he- has a point Ruki~" Kou mused through small hiccups of laughter.

Ruki glanced at me, a unsavory look on his face but turned away, pulling out a small pocketbook. "Do what you want." He muttered.

I let out a small huff but still give him a small nod before leaving my seat. "Gimme 20 mins," I say as I walk into the kitchen, cracking ny knuckles. 'Welp, I've got 20 minutes to make a Shokugeki no Soma level plate of pasta...great.'

I sigh softly at myswlf before pulling out the fanciest of all the dried pasta I had stashed in one of the lower cabinets before setting the water to boil. I threw a small handfull of salt. 'that's like, kinda a tablespoon right...?' I think to myself a little uncertainty but cover the pot to let it boil.

I walk over to the dry pantry, cause of course we had a dry pantry, and pulled out the basket of herbs and a head of garlic.

'hold on...garlic.... vampires...'

I pause, looking at the seemingly harmless plant in my hands.

"THAT WHOLE VAMPIRE GARLIC THING IS A MYTH RIGHT?!" I yell, hoping they heard me.

"The only thing deadly about garlic is the breath we get after it~" a voice breathes from behind me. I don't flinch, I guess living with these whack-a-mold vamps who loved to pop out of nowhere has taken it's toll. "Great, I love my pasta super garlicky," I grin without turning to face the blonde and pick up the kitchen knife, making quick work of the cloves of garlic. 'this knife feels sharper than usual...' I think, recalling how much I used to struggle with cutting through tougher greens like garlic just a few days ago.

"Ruki sharpened the knives," okay now I jumped a little, I didn't expect him to still be here. "He said it was 'disapointingly dull'~" Kou gave his best impression of the boy's no nonsense tone of voice and I snickered under my breath.

I was part way through mincing the garlic when I heard footsteps aoproaching me. "I have a knife in my hands, whatever you're thinking of doing, don't," I sigh, moving on to chopping some fresh parsley. 'Damn I'm surprised the parsley hasn't wilted yet-' a hand grabbed my arm. 'Ugh why...' I spin around to face the boy, who had a devious smirk on his face.

"What did I just-" he cut me off when he shoved me back harshley into the counter.

He grabbed my hand and slammed it against the corner of the counter, making me drop my knife. I hissed in pain. "That hurts you ass," I groan, glaring up at the mosquito who still had me pinned.

"I'm getting a little impatient Kitty-kun~ How about a snack~?" He grinned at me but his eyes were cold. He brought his face closer to mine.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to ruin your dinner?"

I ducked quickly, avoiding the incoming fangs. He still had my wrists pinned but I managed to wrench a hand free in the process, picking up the knife. I rolled to my side and got back up, now outside of his little kabedon. "I heard vampires regenerate, wanna test that?" I scowl, the knife now poised over his forearm that still had my hand in his grip. It was now contorted at a weird angle and started to hurt. I saw his grin fade but soon widen again as he pulled my hand forward.

I ended up with the knife now pointed right at his chest.

"Kill me then," he challenged, his voice no longer carrying that same joyous tone.

"I don't hate you that much,"

I said flatly, turning the knife in my hand to slam the handle into his wrist, forcing him to let go of my hand. "Damn that hurt," I muttered angrily, shaking out my poor hand. I turned to glare at the boy.
"Do you want your damn pasta or not?" I growl, an annoyed frown on my face before I pick up the cutting board and move to another counter.

I slam the board onto the marble in a Huff and head to the fridge to find some bacon. But then I remember something. Running over to the stove I groan. "If the pasta is overcooked it's your own damn fault!" I hurridly open the lid, the water seconds away from boiling over, singeing my fingers in the process. I test a strand with a fork I grabbed off the drying rack and sighed. 'Its fine.' I turn off the fire and move to strain the water.

When I turn around to place the pot down the kitchen is now empty.

'Damn baby back bitches...'
