"Bitch-chaaaann~~~" the spine tingling voice echoed once more through the deserted halls.

'Why me....?'

It had been nearly two hours since I'd returned to my room and 1 hour since Laito had sniffed me out and sparked up a conversation. At first it was rather refreshing, his rather pleasant personality that was once hidden under layers of flirty remarks and innuendos was on full display. He seemed like he genuinely wanted to change and that was pretty heartwarming.

However, as that conversation dragged on I found myself growing tired of speaking with the man who seemed like thw words flowing from his mouth were endless, their source a bottomless pit of hundreds of years of life. Don't get me wrong, I very much cared about how his errogenous zone was below his belly button but damn the boy could talk.

So I did what I do best.

I snuck away.

But I guess my peace was short-lived as my nickname once again resounded through the third floor hall.

I sighed loudly, knowing I wouldn't be able to avoid the boy any longer and turned to walk towards the source of the sound. But then, like out of some cheap-jumpscare laden b-rated horror movie, he popped up right behind me.

To say I shrieked would be putting it mildly.

"JESUS CHRIST, HOLY SHIT-!" the heavily religious colourful language spewed from my lips as I fell on my ass. The boy above me chuckled as I pulled myself back on my feet. "That's an odd combination~" he mused, doubling back over in laughter. I mutter more vicious curses under my breath as I rub my poor behind, that fall wasn't exactly the most graceful. "Shut up you stupid mosquito..."

He gave a sly grin back and stepped forward, narrowing the distance between us.

"Ahh, that reminds me," he began, leaning back against the wall, removing his fedora to run a hand through his hair. "I almost couldn't believe it when Karlheinz asked when our last meal was~" I froze, fingers quickly latching onto the hem of my shirt as a way to seek some sort of comfort. 'do I make a mad dash for it or hope he isn't gonna make some excuse to bite me...?'

"After all my last one was just the other day~" he continued as I secretly scanned the area, realizing rather bitterly that he was standing between me and the entrance of the hall. 'I could run into a room but I'd have nowhere to escape...'

"And the halfbloods aren't exactly in dire need of blood so he couldn't have been refering to them~" he swayed back onto his feet and seemingly loomed over me despite us having nearly identical heights. "Then I realized," he reached a hand out towards my face and I instinctively swiped it away, throwing his hand behind him. His pupils seemed to narrow before the grin on his face returned. "Shu, Ayato, Subaru, they haven't had a lick of blood since we got here," his forest green eyes shimmered with a curious light, like something was boiling and crashing behind them.

"I wouldn't have thought this before but," he lifted the hat in his hand and plopped it onto my head. "It's you isn't it~?"

We stood in silence after that. Eyes locked but I could barely see beyond myself, my thoughts ravaging me. 'me? What did I do? What does that-?'

"Oi! Chibimushi! Where-?!" Ayato's words hung in the air as he rounded the corner. At first he only saw Laito's back, then the boy moved. "Ah, Ayato~" Laito gave a devious grin to the human boy before grabbing him by the shoulders to face Ayato. "I was just spending some time with our Bitch-chan here~" he leaned in further towards my face, almost smushing our cheeks together. "Doesn't he look dashing in a hat~?"

I blinked blankly for a second.

'wait....he-

THIS BITCH IS SHOWING ME OFF!!'

I could practically watch the pieces click in place in Ayato's brain as his face slowly contorted into a scowl. "Bastard!" He stomped over and practically ripped the fedora from my head, shoving it into Laito's face as he grabbed my arm and dragged me free of his triplet's grip.

I widened my strides in an attempt to match his as we stormed in the direction of the rooms.

"A-ayato, what-"

"You!" He yelled out, cutting me off. "Don't just let anyone touch you! You belong to Ore-sama!" It was like a little child throwing a tantrum, the way his hand tightened around mine. "Ayato, I'm not an object..." I sighed though I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel the sentiment behind his words.

He didn't spare me another glance until we reached a door.

'hol up, this aint-'

Without another word I'm dragged into the room.

He presses me to his chest as if trying to suffocate the space between us. "Aya-"

"You belong to Ore-sama," he whispered, as though repeating it would make it true. He placed a hand on my head, fingers curling around my hair as he pushed my face into the crook of his neck. It was weird, the boys never really had any sort of scent. Not like the scent of things that surrounded them like the smell of roses on Subaru but their smell. Their own smell. I never really noticed it but they really smelled like nothing.

"You guys really are weird..." I mumble into his shoulder.

I feel his hands wrap tighter around my hair before weightlessness seemed to take ahold of us.

It took me a second to realise we were falling.

Yet before I could even so much as yelp, soft silk embraced my sides. My eyes darted around the dark room, squinting to try and get a hold on my orientation. Then I felt the stiff padding my back was up against. 'if we're in Ayato's room this means-'

This bitch just put me in an iron maiden...
