Outside, the witness was ranting in Spanish to one of the cops.

"No puedo vivir aqui. Necesito mi familia. Me voy ahora. me voy a la casa. No--me voy a la casa en El Salvador ahora."

(I can not live here. I need my family. I'm leaving now. I go home. No--I'm going to the house in El Salvador now.)

"Consuela Alvarez?" Dean walked up to the distressed woman.

"Yes?" She turned to him, Sam and Maia.

"FBI." Dean held up his badge along with Sam. "Now you said you saw something in the professor's house. Right? Something in the window?"

"Estaba sacando la babsura. Mire por la ventana y vimire al hombre que mato al senor hill!"

(I was taking out the garbage. I looked out the window and I saw the man who killed Mr. Hill!)

While she was talking Dean looked at Maia for help.

"What are you looking at me for?" The blonde asked.

"Don't you speak Spanish?" Dean referred to all the times that Maia would swear in another language.

"That's Greek, not Spanish." The demigod spat.

Sam stepped forward, interrupting the two, "Uh, senora Alvarez. Calmese por favor... uh... un diganos lo que lo vio."

(Mrs. Alvarez. Calm down, please. Tell us what you saw.)

"Nice." Dean

"Freshman Spanish," Sam informed.

"Era alto, muy alto. Y llevaba el abrigo negro largo y tenia bigotes."

(He was tall, very tall. And he was wearing his long black coat and he had a mustache.)

"Okay, uh... tall man, very tall. With a long black coat. And, uh, a beard?" Sam asked the woman. "beard."

"Y un sombrero."

(And a hat.)

"Dude was wearing a sombrero?" Dean questioned.

"A-a hat. Not a-a--" Sam gestured around his head.

"No, no, no. Un sombrero alto."

(No, no, no. A tall hat.)

"A tall hat?" Sam looked at Mrs. Alvarez in confusion.

"Oh, like a top hat?" Dean was beginning to understand.

"Un sombrero alto. Muy alto!" The witness gestured wide with her hands.

(A tall hat. Very tall.)

"What, you mean like a-- like a stovepipe hat?"

"Si."

(Yes.)

"Oh, yeah, you know, like Abraham Lincoln." Dean joked.

"Si. El Presidente Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln killed Mr. Hill." Mrs. Alvarex's voice broke.

(Yes. President Lincoln.)

"Huh." Maia tried to process what she heard.

"S-so I go home now?" The witness asked hopefully.

"Uh, si, gracias." Sam smiled.

(Yes, thank you.)

"Gracias," Dean mimicked his brother, sharing a weirded-out look with him.

(Thank you.)

After their interesting conversation with the witness, the trio went back to the motel for more research.
