Sam, Dean, and Maia rushed around the store getting everything they needed for the bomb. Ellen stayed by Jo's side the entire time, not being able to tear herself away.

They wired all of the propane tanks and stuck them into buckets filled with rock salt and iron nails. Then they connected the wiring to a doorbell and placed the buckets all around the room.

Dean laid out the wire so that the button could reach Jo. Sam and Maia moved out of the way after saying their goodbyes so that Dean could say his.

"Okay, this is it. I'll see you on the other side. Probably sooner than later." Dean gave Jo the button.

"Make it later." Jo smiled.

Dean only stared at her with sadness in his eyes as he gave her a hug. It was an awkward hug but he managed.

Ellen crouched down in front of her daughter. She didn't say anything and she didn't move.

"Mom, no." Jo protested.

"Somebody's got to let them in. And like you said, you're not moving. You got me, Jo. And you're right. This is important. But I will not leave you here alone." Ellen told her daughter.

"Dean?" Maia looked at her father, hoping he wouldn't let Ellen and Jo both sacrifice themselves.

"Get goin' now, guys," Ellen ordered.

"Ellen." Dean tried to say something but the brunette wouldn't have it.

"I said go." Ellen kept her gaze on her daughter. "And Dean... kick it in the ass. Don't miss."

Dean only nodded before he left out the back with Sam and Maia. They climbed to the roof and went down the fire escape. When they were on the ground they kept walking and didn't look back until the hardware shop exploded.

The three stopped turning around to see the store burst into flames. Sam, Dean, and Maia watched everything happen in horror.

"Oh my gods," Maia whispered, hand covering her mouth.

Not being able to stand the sight anymore, Dean turned, sprinting in the other direction. Sam and Maia followed suit, feeling just as angry and upset.

It was a long walk but the trio finally made it to William Jasper's farm. On the land, Lucifer was digging dirt into a hole while a group of some of the missing people stood silent and still, watching.

"I guess we know what happened to some of the townspeople," Dean noted.

"Okay. Last words?" Sam asked.

"I think I'm good," Dean said after a moment of thought.

"Yeah. Me too." Sam agreed.

"This was a stupid idea." Maia's comment earned her weird looks from the brothers. "What? You wanted last words, you got 'em."

"Here goes nothin'." Dean cocked the Colt, moving to get in position along with Sam and Maia.

"Hey!" Sam walked out into the open field, grabbing Lucifer's attention. "You wanted to see me?"

"Well, Sam, you don't need that gun here." Lucifer stopped digging and pointed to the shotgun in Sam's hands. "You know I'd never hurt you. Not really."

Dean snuck up, aiming the Colt at Lucifer's head. "Yeah? Well, I'd hurt you. So suck it." Dean fired the gun. Lucifer collapsed, seemingly dead.

Suddenly, Lucifer grunted, "Oww!" He slowly stood up, pissed. "Where did you get that?" He tossed his arm out, flinging Dean against a tree and knocking him out.
