After hearing about a demon named Crowley being in possession of the colt, Sam and Dean had Castiel trail him, much to Maia's dismay. Cas followed him back to a mansion that was warded against angels, leaving Sam and Dean to call in some backup: the Jo Harvelle.
With their heist being a success, the hunter went back to Bobby's for a celebration. Ellen Harvelle, Jo's mom, sat across from Cas at the kitchen table. They both had a row of shots in front of them. Jo and Maia sat on the end watching. Ellen downed one, placing the empty glass back on the table.
"All right, big boy. Let's go." Ellen challenged Cas.
Castiel quietly downed all five shots in under a minute. "I think I'm starting to feel something."
"I hope so. Otherwise, you just wasted alcohol." Maia scoffed. Jo smiled at both Cas' comment and Maia. It was unbelievable how similar she and Dean were.
"So, Maia, what's it like living with Sam and Dean?" Jo asked.
"Weird," Maia replied honestly.
Jo furrowed her eyebrows. "How's it weird?"
"I don't know. Probably the difference between them and my family back home." Maia shrugged.
"What differences?" Ellen jumped in, growing curious.
"Well, for starters, they don't throw raves, have drinking contests or brawls on a daily basis. They aren't constantly pranking each other." Maia listed off just a few of the differences between her two families.
"Your mom and sister did all that?" Ellen's eyes widened.
"What? No, my cousins are the wild ones... Come to think of it some of my aunts and uncles are too." Maia explained.
"Wow. How big is your family?" Jo asked.
"Big. I have my grandparents, eleven blood-related aunts, and uncles, seven that married into the family and about nine cousins. One of my aunts is pregnant with triplets." Maia informed.
"What, are you guys Italian?" Jo joked.
"Funny, but we're actually Greek," Maia smirked.
"Of course you are." Jo laughed, standing up. "I'm gonna get another beer."
Maia went on talking with Ellen while Dean stood up from his seat at Bobby's desk to talk to Jo. The Winchester was right behind the blonde as she straightened up, an ice-cold beer in her hand.
"Hey." Dean greeted.
"Hey." Jo smiled at the Winchester. "So, I officially met Maia. She's adorable."
"Don't tell her that." Dean laughed.
"You know she's a lot like you." Jo tilted her head, the smile still on her face.
"Yeah, it's hard to miss." Dean took a sip of his beer. He looked over at his daughter who was deep into a conversation with Ellen about God knows what. Dean smiled to himself, watching her talk with her hands, something Melissa used to do.
"Everybody, get in here!" Bobby yelled as he adjusted an old film camera. "It's time for the lineup. Usual suspects in the corner."
"Oh, come on, Bobby. Nobody wants their picture taken." Ellen complained.
"Hear, hear." Sam agreed.
"Shut up. You're drinkin' my beer." Bobby retorted.
"I'm not," Maia called from the kitchen.
"I don't care. Anyway... I'm gonna need something to remember your sorry asses by." Bobby wheeled backward to everyone else. "Maia, get over here."
