Sam, Dean, and Maia stood outside by the church entrance, watching as four men placed the teen's coffin at the altar. When the parents came up to the doors, Dean stopped them.
"Ma'am, we're just, um, very sorry." He apologized.
"You know... this is your fault." The mother accused.
"Jane." Her husband warned before taking her inside.
Maia glared daggers at her retreating figure. She hated that she had just blamed Dean for her son's death. No one knew that the demon was under the car. It was just an accident.
"I wish I knew what to say... but I don't." The preacher announced to the townees as he began the funeral. "I'm so sorry, Jane. Rob. There are no words. Dylan... I don't know why this happened. I don't know why any of this is happening. I got no easy answers. But what I do know is--"
As the preacher spoke, Leah fell out of her seat. She began convulsing on the ground, presumably receiving another vision.
"Leah? Leah, honey?" The preacher rushed to his daughter. "It's okay sweetie, it's okay." He assured as her convulsions came to a stop.
"Dad, it's Dylan," Leah announced.
"Just rest a minute, huh?" The preacher asked.
"No, listen. Dylan's coming back." Leah's words set the church into a quiet frenzy of hopeful whispers.
The preacher helped his daughter to her feet, standing next to her as she addressed the congregation about her vision.
"Jane, Rob... It's going to be okay. You'll see Dylan again. When the final day comes, judgment day, he'll be resurrected, and you'll be together again. We'll all be together-- with all our loved ones. We've been chosen. The angels have chosen us. Ans we will be given paradise on Earth. All we have to do is follow the angels' commandments." Leah explained, leaving the audience stunned yet eager to listen.

"No drinking, no gambling, no premarital sex? Dean they basically just outlawed ninety percent of your personality." Sam sassed as he exited the church along with his brother and niece.
"Yeah, well, whatever. When in Rome." Dean shrugged, his mind elsewhere.
"So, uh... you're cool with it?" Sam asked. Maia tilted her head at her father, waiting for his response. She wasn't blind, she knew how her father was yet the new rules didn't seem to phase him at all.
"I'm not cool. I'm not not cool. It's-- look, man, I'm not a prophet. We're not locals. It's not my call." Dean paused for a moment before speaking again. "I'll catch up with you."
Maia narrowed her eyes at Dean as he walked back into the church. Something was off-- she knew it. But for now, she just had to wait around for the next step.
"This is why I hate Christianity." Maia abruptly stated as she and Sam began walking down the street.
"What do you mean?" Sam asked, unsure of the point his niece was trying to make.
"You only get to go to the good afterlife if you lead a perfect and devout life. With Paganism, on the other hand, you just gotta fight the good fight and not be a coward. No rules."
"You do not like rules," Sam observed.
"Because I didn't really grow up with any," Maia informed.
"There's no way you grew up without rules."
"Well, yeah, there were some rules but it was just stuff like don't provoke the gods, don't kill family members, always read the instructions before you do a spell. That last one is my fault."
