The church turned into a weapons class when Sam, Dean, and Melissa came back.
After Sam finished teaching the pregnant couple some gun basics, he went to go sit by himself and think.
The younger Winchester looked around the room at everybody until his eyes landed on Maia. Now that he knew that she was Dean's daughter, he could see the similarities between her and his brother.
Sure she looked like a mini Melissa, but her personality matched Dean's to a T. Sam smiled to himself as he thought about it. Not only was his brother a father but he himself was an uncle.
"Hey." Dean sat down next to Sam
"Hey," The younger Winchester repeated.
Dean turned to Sam, ready to interrogate him.
"So, Melissa's just an old friend huh?" His question caused Dean to glare at him.
"You found out about that?" The older Winchester stated more than asked.
"That Maia is your kid? Yeah."
Both Winchesters shifted their gaze towards the young blonde who was teaching an older girl how to load a pistol.
"She is just like you."
"Yeah, Melissa told me the same thing."
"Why didn't you ever tell me about her?"
"Because I had to leave when she was only a year old. She has no idea that I'm her dad."
Their conversation was cut short by Ellen. "I'll be back."
"Where you going?" Dean asked her.
"I can't sit here on my ass. My daughter's out there somewhere. I'm not back in half an hour, go. Get these people out of here."
"No, wait. I'll go with you." Sam stood up.
"Whoa. Hold on. Can I talk to you for a second?" Dean led Sam to the stairwell.
"You're gonna go out there again?" Dean wasn't happy with Sam volunteering to go with Ellen.
"Well, crap doesn't hit the fan with coffee breaks." Sam reasoned
"I'll go."
"It's fine. Just stay here, get 'em ready. I'll cover Ellen."
"Why's it gotta be you?"
"Oh, that's right. I forgot. You think I'll take one look at a demon and suddenly fall off the wagon, as if, after everything, I haven't learned my lesson."
"Well, have you?"
Sam shoved Dean against the wall, his blood boiling with rage.
"If you actually think-" Sam couldn't even finish his sentence he was so angry.

Ten minutes had passed since Sam and Ellen left and Melissa finally mustered up the courage to tell her daughter the truth.
"Hey hon, how about you and I go have a chat." She asked Maia.
"Um okay." The demigod got up from her chair and followed her mom to the stairwell.
"Sit down," Melissa told her, then she stuck her head out the door.
"Dean." She called, gesturing for him to come over too.
