Outside passed in a blur as Dean floored the gas pedal. Chuck had sent an emergency life or death text the night before and Sam and Dean had been in a panicked frenzy ever since.
Maia sat in the back, tensed up. She had no idea who this Chuck guy was or what was so urgent but she knew that if the Winchesters were this worried than that it was something important.
The boys rushed out of the car as soon as it parked. Sam ran ahead while Dean and Maia stopped at the sight of all the '67 Chevy Impalas sitting in the parking lot.
"Guys, come on!" Sam urged the two. They ran after him, making a beeline for a short brunet man with a thick beard.
"Chuck! There you are." Sam slowed down.
"Guys." The man, Chuck, looked shocked to see the trio.
"What's going on?" Dean questioned.
"Uh, nothing. You know, just, um, I was kind of hangin'. What are you guys doing here?" Chuck nervously asked.
"You told us to come," Dean stated.
"Uh, no, I didn't." Chuck denied.
"Yeah, you did. You texted me-- This address. 'Life or death situation.' Any of this ring a bell?" Sam reminded him.
"No, I-I-I didn't send you a text," Chuck confessed.
"We drove all night," Dean yelled.
"I'm sorry. I-I-I don't understand what could-- oh, no." Chuck sighed.
"What?" Dean asked rather harshly.
"Sam! You made it!" A woman yelled gaining the four's attention.
"Oh, uh... Becky right?" Sam asked.
"Oh. You remembered. You've been thinking about me." Becky grinned.
"I..." Sam trailed off.
"It's okay. I can't get you out of my head, either." Becky giggled.
"What the hell?" Maia cringed at Becky flirting with Sam.
"Oh my god! You must be Maia. Oh, you're cuter than I pictured."
"What?" Maia stared at Becky, wide-eyed.
"Um, did you take my phone?" Chuck asked Becky.
"I just borrowed it. From your parents." Becky stated calmly.
"Becky." Chuck sighed.
"What? They're gonna want to see it." She smiled.
"See what?" Sam and Dean spoke in unison.
"Oh, my god. I love it when they talk at the same time!" Becky exclaimed.
"Hey, Chuck! Come on pal. It's showtime." An older heavy-set guy in a bright yellow shirt stepped outside. Becky ran back up the steps, following the man.
"Guys, I'm sorry. For everything." Chuck apologized, walking up the stairs.
Sam, Dean, and Maia followed him. "How did she know who I was?" Maia asked Sam and Dean.
"Oh you're in Chuck's unpublished books," Becky answered, having heard Maia's question.
"His what?" Maia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.
"Chuck is a prophet and has written books about our lives for years now," Sam explained.
"Naturally." Maia rolled her eyes.
Inside, a heavyset man in his thirties chuckled at Dean. "Hey, Dean! Lookin' good!"
"Who the hell are you?" Dean's gaze followed the man.
