*Rose's Point of view*
I giggled as I ran through the house a week later, Josh chasing me as I held his Teddy bear in my arms.
Teddy bear was a small kitten that Josh had loved since it's mother had died a few weeks ago.
Josh loved Mrs. Twinkie, it was his first pet and he promised to take care of any kittens Mrs. Twinkie had.
Mrs. Twinkie. I know, stupid name. But Josh was going through a phase back then where he loved twinkies so much, he named his first pet after one.
I couldn't blame him though, I was probably worse than that.
I once had a Teddy bear named chocolate when I was six. I cried for days when it ended up missing and Josh bought me a bugger one, one bigger than myself at the time.
I still had it at his real moms house though, hidden in a closet.
Anyway, back to present matters.
I was running through the house, dodging everything and everyone as they prepared for the ball tonight in honor of finding me, people from packs all over the world were coming.
I had Josh's kitten tucked safely in my arms as I ran through everything, hearing the sound if yelling behind me as Josh ran into one of the chef's, who was carrying a tray if food.
I turned my head around, seeing Josh glare at me playfully from the ground as he tried to push himself up, only to slip and fall again.
I gasped and turned back around, focusing on running as I ran up the grand staircase and two more staircases until I was on my parents floor, running into their room.
"Don't tell him I'm in here!" I whispered to my parents, who were sitting on their bed reading a book and they chuckled as I threw the closet doors open, climbing the wall to get on the top shelf where I couldn't be seen by anyone after putting Teddy bear on the floor of the closet.
The closet doors flung open a few seconds later and I shrunk back into my cubby as I heard a furious meow and saw Teddy bear jump up from the sudden flinging of the doors before purring softly.
Josh looked around the closet, pushing clothes aside as he tried to find me, but I stuck to my spot, holding my breath.
"Where is she?" He asked as he turned to my parents and they shrugged.
I know your probably wondering how I can see what's going on without actually being down there.
There is a small vent that leads to right next to the closet, making it possible for me to see everything from the vent.
Josh shut the closet doors and stomped out the room angrily, Teddy bear following eagerly.
I climbed out the closet, feeling guilty for doing that, but not ready to apologize until he apologized for teasing me about a time when I was eight and got gum stuck in my hair.
And then I picked up his kitty and took off running.
And I ended up here.
"I think he's mad at you." Dad said, sipping his coffee.
"Ya think?" I asked sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
I had grow very fond to my family in the past week, but I had the sense something was missing in our family and realized what it was when the woman who had raised me came to visit yesterday, a sad look in her eye as she stared at me and her son like she was so lonely.
So after a lot of begging and persuading, I got everyone to agree to let her move into the pack house.
And, here is the awkward part, ahem *cough*cough** Since she is only, um, 36 years old, Kyle, my oldest brother at 38.
And since they were both rejected by their mates, they are, how you say, going out now.
My brother and the lady who raised me...
DISTURBING!
But I was happy for them both, they acted like real mates yesterday when they had met, I wouldn't be surprised if they were, I could actually hear their wolves calling each others.
But like I said, I was happy for them, no matter how disturbing it was.
I sighed as I walked out their room without waiting for an answer and Josh was stomping angrily down the hall, Teddy bear following him.
I had a feeling he wasn't mad at me because of taking Teddy bear, but something else.
I ran up behind him, having to jog to keep up with him.
"I'm sorry." I said.
He turned toward me, his eyes blazing so much that I stumbled backward.
He growled lowly, pressing me up against the wall as his lips crashed onto mine roughly but passionately.
He pulled away and looked down at me when he realized I wasn't responding.
He went to step away, but I gripped his face in my hands and pulled him to me, our lips meeting once again as I finally realized why he's been acting so weird the past few days.
He wanted to mark me. To claim me.
And I planned to let him.
