Josh POV

I watched in amazement as the fighting ceased from my spot in the bushes. A loud ringing was heard in my head, everyone falling to their knees and screaming in pain except me and Rose's family.

Rose was standing in the ocean, eyes glowing bright blue.

I bit my lip, resisting the urge to run up to her, my mate.

But it was so hard, not being able to have her in my arms.

I groaned in annoyance, making her family turn to stare at me.

I kept my eyes on Rose though, getting nervous as I saw clouds rolling in quickly, dark clouds surrounding everyone.

Lightning stroke and I nearly jumped forward when it hit Rose, but it seemed like she absorbed the lightning.

The ground shook beneath my feet, the sound of everyone screaming could be heard around us.

Rose wasn't in the water anymore, she was standing between everyone, staring down the person on their knees in front of her, screaming something down at the woman.

All eyes were on her, my Rose. She was obviously nervous, the slight shift in her feet gave her away. But she looked so brave, head held high and standing straight as she stared at the people around her, not with hate, but understanding.

"You all scared of being killed or harmed. Wolves are afraid of hunters because of their weapons and how strong they are. Humans are afraid of the wolves they see the size if horses turn into one of them. We need to accept eachother." She began in a low voice, but loud enough for everyone around her to hear her. A loud cracking was heard as the ground split and I stumbled as as the ground shook. "No one will be scared when I'm done with you though. If anything, you'll be terrified of me. Me of all people? I'm probably the biggest wimp here right now! If you think you've had a hard life, going through watching loved ones being taken away from you, I can't argue. But that doesn't give anyone a right to kill or harm anyone!"

The wind was picking up, but no one moved, the only sound was Rose's footsteps and the air swirling around us.

"If you have ever killed or harmed anyone, stand up." Rose said, anger in her tone.

Everyone but the small kids stood up, along with a few teenagers.

"I can't say I'm surprised. Now if your a child, an adult, a teenager, or anyone that has never harmed anyone but stood by and watch people get harmed, take a step into the ocean.

Exactly twenty-six people stepped forward, including my mother and Pixie.

I didn't step forward, I didn't know if I counted.

But when Rose looked at me, she smiled at me, her eyes back to brown and glowing with happiness.

"You qualify for this." She whispered and walked to me, pulling me into the water but she stayed out.
