*Rose's Point of view*
Shifting was a semi-horrible experience. I was terrified at first, but then as my body started the final stage of the transformation, I was so excited yet horrified at the same time.
What if I can't shift back?
What happens when I do shift back?
Will my parents hate disown me like Josh's father did?
Will they treat me like the pack did?
Did they get what they wanted and don't want me anymore?
So many questions were swimming through my mind, each causing me to freak out even more as Josh carried me back to my parents house.
As soon as his foot touched our land, people were surrounding us, making me stare around with wide eyes at all the attention made me blush and run into Josh's arms.
Everyone finally settled down, my parents just staring at me as my siblings scattered in different directions, going to do whatever.
"Are you okay?" Mom asked worriedly.
"I'm fine." I assured, smiling uneasily.
"No your not. What's wrong?" She asked sternly, narrowing her eyes slightly and crossing her arms across her chest.
"I said I'm fine." I said as I stepped away from Josh and walked into the woods, needing to clear my mind.
"Rose! Get back here right now!" My mother called behind me and I rolled my eyes, she loves to be in control.
"I'll be back in a few hours." I called over my shoulder.
And then I was running.
Running like my life depended on it which, in my mind, it did.
I was hoping Josh would follow me, but he didn't.
He didn't follow.
He doesn't care.
