Rose POV
I tripped once again over a tree root, nearly falling flat on my face if I hadn't of caught myself. I smiled smugly mentally when Peter groaned in annoyance.
Josh was still in my head, watching everything that was going on. I could watch what he was doing, but I preferred not to. I couldn't take watching my own family without probably bursting into tears at the thought of my family members betraying me.
Kristen's foot shot out in front of me, making me trip and fall on my face. I finally found out what dirt taste like. I strongly recommend no one to do that purposely.
She chuckled, staring down at me with a mixture of emotions before her eyes filled with false hatred.
Someone was putting things into her head, making her believe stupid things.
And I didn't like it.
Peter gripped my arm, pulling me up roughly and causing me to whimper in pain.
I could feel her now, Leila, my wolf, stirring inside me as she growled angrily at my brother and sister, making them gasp in shock. Why? I have no idea.
But I restrained my wolf as Josh calmed her down, Peter smiling smugly as I shut up completely for the rest of the walk.
And then I saw it.
We emerged from the trees and into a field. There was a huge house sitting in the middle of it.
Peters grip on my arm tightened on my arm until there was a. Definite bruise and it was close to snapping. I heard two growls then, one from Josh and one from Leila. He practically dragged me into the house.
And if I thought living with the pack was bad, I was so wrong.
When he shoved me through that doorway, I stepped into my own personal hell.
