Peter POV

I growled, punching the wall angrily and not caring for the hole I left there.

She would choose him. She always does, no matter how much he hurts her, she always has and will choose him.

And I hated that I couldn't change that.

I looked over the monitor again, watching her, my mate.

It hurt me inside to see her like this, to see her at all. The small baby bump was getting larger by the day, his smell covered her, and to add to it, there was a large bruise forming on her back and her lip was swelling up.

I loved her, more than anything. I would do anything for her. I had to leave my family for her, I had to grow up as a royal because my parents had found out I was a royals mate at an early age.

I was trained my whole life to be a killing machine, what I am today.

I could kill someone with one thought, I could do whatever I wanted with people cowering in fear before me. I could accidentally kill someone with one thought.

How I lost my family.

And no, I didn't kill them. I was young and couldn't control my powers and got mad at a guy for doing something to make my older sister angry and scared. And I accidentally killed him. my parents sent me off that day. I was six at the time. But I wasn't sent away because I killed someone, I was sent away because I was a royals mate.

My thoughts were quickly interrupted when I heard tires on the gravel driveway outside. I stood up, anger growing inside me when I saw Kristen and the family pulling up.

My wolf growled in anger and annoyance, the growl slowly making it's way out my mouth as he quickly took over.
