Josh POV

I sighed in annoyance as well as the two other guys as the girls argued back and forth over a pair of shoes.

"No! I get to wear them! I bought them with my money! Get your own!" Redhead screamed in Pixies face.

"No you didn't! We both paid for them! You wore them last time! It's my turn!" Pixie screamed back, snatching the shoes from her sister and running through the house with her chasing after her.

"No running in my house!" Mom screamed at the two and they immediately froze, bowing they're heads in shame. "Now you two settle this argument this instance or I will make you both wear granny shoes!"

They looked horrified at the thought.

"You can wear them." Redhead said to Pixie quickly, quickly walking back into the living room and sitting down next to her eldest brother, Kyle.

Pixie is her real name. It suits her well actually, she looks like a pixie afterall with the short black hair and bright green eyes that never seem to dull.

"Your dads here." Mom said seriously to me and my eyes widened slightly, wondering what he wanted.

Everything fell silent as the sound of a car door slamming outside could be heard.

"What do you want?" I asked my father when he entered the room, nervously.

"Rose. She's gone." He said.

He noticed the other four in the room and paled the shade of a piece of paper.

"What did you do with my sister?" Kyle asked, standing so he was staring my father straight in the eye.

"Sh-she disappeared." He stuttered.

Kyle sighed, running his hands through his hair in irritation.

"Where would she go?" He asked, turning to me, knowing I was her mate and knew everything about her, but not this time.

"I don't know." I said sadly, helplessly.

"I'll call my parents, have them send out a search party for her. She couldn't have gotten far. She hasn't shifte-" He cut himself off quickly, his own form going pale as the phone slipped from his hand.

"She wasnt injured when she disappeared was she?" He asked my father.

My father shifted nervously, glancing anywhere but him.

"She was." He said lowly.

A string of curse words slipped from Kyle's mouth as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Then theres no way we can find her now. Her wolf will be blocking her scent. She might shift early because she needs more strength to survive on her own if she really ran away. We can't find her now." He sighed. "But we will still look for her. There has to be some hope for her coming home."
