*Rose's  Point of view*

I winced as I was poked again, Pixie calling out an apology.

"Why can't I just wear a normal dress like every other girl?" I asked as Kristen threaded the needle again.

"We've already established your not normal. And normal dresses won't  make Josh drool as much as he will tonight." Pixie said.

As she did my hair, pulling it in many different directions to get it the way she wanted.

"There! Done with the dress!" Kristen said a half hour later.

"And I'm done with the hair." Pixie said as they both stood in front of me.

I sighed and stepped off of the pedestal and nearly stumbled in the heels I was wearing. I walked over to the floor length mirror, my jaws dropping at the sight of the girl in front of me.

"I can't wait to see Josh's reaction when he sees you!" Pixie said happily, clapping her hands together as she bounced slightly on her feet

I blushed as I remembered what Josh and I had done not long before.

The girls chuckled.

"Your going to be in heat for another week.

Every wolf in this palace will be able to smell your arousal.

So I suggest you stay close to Josh." Kristen said and my blush deepens.

I slapped my hands to my cheeks and walked past them to the dressing room door.

I quickly walked down the hall, looking for any sign of the grand staircase me and Josh would be meeting each other.

Some people stopped to stare at me in wonder and amazement as I walked past them, nearly stumbling over my heels and dress.

I sighed and stopped, pulling off my heels and lifting my dress off the ground as I walked around more freely, no longer having to run in heels.

I sighed in annoyance when I couldn't find him, my wolf whimpering at being away from him for so long.

I leaned against a wall, feeling a presence coming up the stairs and I whirled around to face the person.

My breath hitched when I saw him come around the corner, the next second I was running to him, his arms open as he caught me as I threw myself at him.

He wrapped his arms firmly around my waist as I breathed in his scent, this was the scent  I had missed dearly for the past two hours.

He pressed his left cheek to my right one as he took a deep breath and stiffened.

I blushed a bright red, but didn't step back because I knew better than that, he would only pull me back.

I tried to stop it, I seriously did, but my wolf wanted him, and everyone else, to smell my arousal.

I resented my wolf at that moment.

Josh stepped back, taking my hand in his as he lead me to the staircase it took me a while to find, where everyone was waiting on the bottom floor.
