So this chapter will be in Pixie's POV. I wanted to show how she feels all the time while watching everyone around her.

Pixie POV
I stared at my sister. She looked so pretty today, so innocent in her yellow sundress. And then there was Josh. He looked so much like a bad boy, with the leather jacket and ripped jeans and white T-shirt.
They were complete opposites in nearly everything, but that's what made them perfect for each other.
I stared at her back as Josh carried her on his back into the store, wishing I could have that. I so badly wished I could be her, to have someone to live me as much as they do.
But I haven't found my mate yet, I don't think I ever will.
Kyle may have lost his mate because he was rejected, but he had someone now, someone who loved him deeply. He had Emily, Josh's mom who was like a second mate to him.
I smiled, it came so easy now after lying for so long. I skipped ahead of them, humming to myself, when I was really breaking inside.
I stared down at the ground as I suddenly stopped in confusion. My wolf was acting weird. She was actually trying to speak to me.
I ignored her, she hasn't spoken tone for years, why start now?
I pushed her to the back of my mind as the twins ran up to me, each grabbing one of my hands with bright smiles as we skipped to the toy store, they had no idea where I was taking them.
"What do you think mommy will say about a new toy?" I asked as I crouched in front of them.
They smiled.
"Mommy won't care." They said in unison.
I felt someone's eyes on me and I looked around in confusion, not seeing anyone.
I shrugged and turned back towards the twins, a fake smile on my face as I took their hands again and we skipped into the store.
"Each of you take a cart. Get as many toys as you can. We can't have your rooms empty, now can we?"
They smiled and giggled before running off, pushing their carts as I followed closely behind.
Rose was such a lucky person. She has kids to call her own, she's pregnant, she has a family.
Linda got a lot of barbie things, so I assumed and liked dolls, and James got mainly hot wheel cars and transformers.
I chuckled as they put their toys up on the counter and I pulled out my credit card.
I felt someone's eyes still on me, but I didn't pay them no mind anymore.
Rose entered the store then, looking worried until she saw me with the twins and a smile came to her face.
"You didn't have to do this." She said as I handed my credit card to the lady.
"I wanted to. It's the least I could do for my niece and nephew." I said as I ruffled James hair, making him giggle.
I sighed in annoyance and looked around.
"Do you feel someone watching us?" I asked Rose.
"No." She said and frowned at me.
"Well I'm just going to find mom and dad now since you probably want the twins now." I said and she nodded.
I sighed and walked around the store aimlessly, not able to shake the feeling of someone watching me, that someone sending shivers through my body.
I plopped down on a bench in the middle of the hall, closing my eyes tiredly.
I hadn't been getting much sleep lately, I haven't gotten much sleep since I turned sixteen and I shifted, I hadn't found my mate that day. I am twenty-five now, still no luck.
But when I felt someone sit down next to me and a voice that sent shivers through my body, I opened my eyes and smiled my first real smile in years.
"Hey." He said, smiling at me.
And I knew then, I had found him.
My mate.
