PICTURE OF PALCE ON SIDE!!! DO YOU LIKE IT???
~~~~~*~~~~~
Rose's Point of view
I sighed as I climbed out of bed, turning back to look at Josh and couldn't keep the smile off my face.
He loves me.
I stood up, holding a sheet to my body as I looked around, a blush coming to my face as I saw our clothes spread across the room, studying the claw marks on the headboard of the bed and mattress from when our wolves tried to take over.
My face heated up further as I remembered our many rounds of...mating last night.
Josh reached out in his sleep towards where I was just at, frowning in his sleep when he realized I wasn't there.
I laughed softly and rounded the bed, crawling on top of him and he wrapped his arms around my waist tightly as I buried my face in his neck.
He relaxed under me as his breathing deepened.
His phone on the bedside table vibrated and I reached for it as I slid out of his arms. I stared at the caller ID in confusion. It was just one letter. X.
"Hello?" I asked into the phone.
"Josh!" A voice yelled over the noise in the background. "I need you to come home! The twins are acting up again!"
"Who?" I asked in confusion.
"The twins?" The girl asked. "The kids? Don't tell me you forgot about them, Josh."
It was silent as I tried to process what she was saying.
"Wait," She said, the sound gone in the background, "This isn't Josh, is it?"
"This is Rose." I said, trying not to let the tears fall over.
"Why do you have my fiancée's phone?"
Everything in me froze at that word.
Josh was... Engaged?
"Hello?" The girl asked after a few minutes of silence.
"Oh! Never mind! Tell Josh the twins miss him. He hasn't visited in a while. Always working."
I didn't have a chance to say anything else before the line went dead.
I set the phone back onto the bedside table, feeling the bed shift as Josh woke up.
"What's wrong?" He asked as he sat up beside me.
"Who is she?" I asked, my eyes still on the phone.
"Who is who?" He asked, sounding nervous.
"The girl that goes by X on your phone." I whispered, my heart breaking slightly.
"I don't know what you heard, but it's not true." He said.
I stood up and walked into the walk in closet, throwing on a pair of shorts and a tank top.
"You have kids?" I asked as I slipped on a pair of sneakers.
"No. They're not my kids. She had them before we met. "But you have to listen, th-" I stopped him before he could go on and break my heart further.
"I'm just going to go now." I said as I pointed behind me at the bedroom door when I finally looked him in the eye, willing the tears not to fall over.
"And I don't care what you do right now or who you do it with. Just don't follow me."
He went to say something, but I was already out the door slamming it so hard behind me, I heard a crack in the door.
He cheated on me. He lied to me.
I was done being used.
