Chapter 11

Rose POV

I stared at mt book as Josh entered the room. I couldn't detatch my eyes from the book. It was based on royals history.

Josh lifted my legs up, plopping down on the couch besides me with my feet in his lap.

"I'm guessing that's a good book?" He asked and I nodded, turning the page in my book, eyes wide as I read about my ancestors.

"And your going to ignore me?" he asked, but I paid him no mind, my attention completely on my book that my parents gave me.

I vaguely heard him sigh as he stood up, walking towards the kitchen.

I sighed, putting my book down as I stood up, walking after him.

He was standing bent over counter, head in hands.

I walked up behind him, wrapping my arms around him from behind as his tense muscles relaxed almost immediately.

I smiled as he turned to face me, standing on my tiptoes, since he's about a foot taller than me, and pressing my lips to his cheek.

"I'm sorry for ignoring you. I just couldn't get my attention off of the book, it was too interesting." I pouted, hoping he would forgive me.

He moaned silently, an indescribable emotion clouding his eyes as he stared at me.

I stared at him in confusion, but he was staring at my lips and not my face.

I waved a hand in front of his face, causing his eyes to snap to mine and lust to fill my body as he stared at me with so much desire.

Unfortunately, my wolf was no longer with me since I shift tomorrow, so I couldn't ask her for answers.

I saw his nose crinkle slightly and I swear be stopped breathing for a second.

He stepped away from me and I stared at him in confusion.

"What's wrong?" I asked as he ran his hands through his hair in frustration, something he's been doing often lately, before he turned towards me, pressing me against the counter as his lips crashed down onto mine, desire coursing through my body.

I pulled him closer to me as he slid me on the counter, stepping in between my legs, his lips never leaving mine.

His tounge traced my bottom lip and I gladly let him in, sending us both into a world I never knew existed.
