Sadly, this story may be coming to an end. I SAID MAY! I'll probably write about ten, maybe twenty, or more chapters before the end. But there will be a sequel. It will be about their biological children. I'm not giving a description yet though, you have to wait for it! There might only be a few chapters left though, I'm not sure.

I watched as her eyes went wide and she tensed completely.

"I'm pregnant?" She whispered, her hand touching her stomach softly.

I didn't answer, just letting  it sink in.

Linda peeked her head around the door, smiling brightly, making me and Rose smile in return, though Rose's smile was a little uneasy.

Her smiles always cheered people up, she could brighten a whole room, just like Rose can.

I picked up Linda, pulling her onto my knee as she slyly gave me the thing I sent her to get. I quickly shoved it in my pocket, hoping not to loose it again.

And then her parents entered the room with James.

"You know, Stacey and my dad are in jail now." I said, making Rose's eyes snap to me.

"I heard about that. Why are they exactly?" She asked.

"Many reasons."

"They kidnapped you, beat you for fifteen years, didn't feed you, they abused the twins and my dad was caught having sex with a minor." Josh scrunched his nose up in disgust and shivered as Linda giggled.

"And Linda and James were watching, not literally, but like in the next room over, so they heard everything."

"I cant believe they had to go through that." I said when James crawled into my lap.

"Me either. That's why we're taking them in. They already loved you before they met you anyway."

"Yeah! "

"He wouldn't stop talking about you." He would go on and on about how beautiful Rose is and how he was going to ask h-" Josh's clamped a hand on Linda's mouth, eyes wide.

"Ask me what?" I asked and mom and dad shared knowing looks with one another.

"Ask me what?" I asked again when everyone stayed quiet.

James went to say something, but Josh quickly jumped over the bed, Linda in one arm, and pressed a finger on his lips.

"Remember our deal?" He asked the two kids.

Understanding dawned on their face as they nodded, Josh stepping back carefully to make sure they didn't say anything else.

I sighed in annoyance when the door opened again, this time a doctor coming in with a clipboard.

"Ah, Miss Sinclair. I see your awake." He said, writing something down on the clipboard.

Josh glared at the doctor, a murderous look in his eyes.

"Cant we have a different doctor in here? Anyone but you?" He asked rudely.

I smacked him in the back of the head.

"Stop being so rude!" I scolded and he turned to me with wide eyes.

But when the doctor turned to me, and winked at me with an arrogant smirk, I got angry myself.

Does he not see my mate sitting right next to me?

"Yeah. I'm going with Josh on this one. Can I have a different doctor?" I asked politely.

Josh chuckled, holding my small hand in his much larger one as the doctor glared at our hands.

And that's how it went for the next hour.
