Part Twenty-Two

Joe started to kiss back.

Freaking out, I gasped and smiled into the kiss, making Joe smile too.

"Lol!" Troye burst out laughing.

"Chloe!" Zoe gasped but laughed.

"Damn." Alfie muttered, turning to Zoe. "Why don't we do that?"

"Oh, we will." Zoe smirked, earning whoops and hollers from everyone.

I pulled back, ignoring the stares from around us. I just stared into Joe's eyes, him staring back.

"Wow." Joe chuckled.

"I like you." I blurted out, earning a laugh from Joe and an 'aww' from everyone else.

"I, uh, l-like you, too." Joe smiled.

"Oh." I giggled.

"Can you guys, like, stop watching us?" Joe laughed.

Everyone instantly took attention away from us and onto the TV, which was playing reruns of Doctor Who.

"Can I ask you something?" Joe asked.

"You just did."

"No, I mean, like... Another question?" Joe furrowed his eyebrows.

"Sure." I smiled.

"Do you wanna go out?" Joe smiled.

"What do you mean by go out? Like, on a date? Or like, boyfriend and girlfriend."

"On a date." Joe confirmed. "I know this really fancy restaurant."

"Okay. Deal. But on one condition." I smirked.

"And what is that, Chloe?"

"You have to quit the competition." I giggled.

"Deal." Joe kissed my cheek.

I smiled and shook my head.

"I'm just teasin'. You don't have to do that."

"Are we gonna go with this competition or what?"

"I don't know. I'm tired." I pouted.

"Same." Zoe, Alfie, and Niomi yelled at the same time.

"And I take back what I said. Girls can be better at guys at sports." Joe smiled.

Zoe squealed and Finn looked up from his phone over to us.

"Really?" She whispered.

"Yeah. I forgot to ask when but he's taking me out to a restaurant he likes."

"Yay!"

I looked back into the living room where everyone was watching Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.

"You guys are gonna get married and have a girl named Zoe and then live in a house where Zoe will grow up, get married and you guys will die together, it's gonna be so cute!" She yelled, earning a laugh from Joe from across the room.

"Yeah, I hope so." I giggled.

"Ready?" Joe asked, wrapping an arm around me.

"I guess." I shrugged, looking down at my appearance.

"Okay." He smiled.

Zoe and Alfie waved us off and Joe and I got into his car.

"Where are we going?"

"Nando's." Joe smirked.

"Of course. Why didn't I think of that before?" I giggled.

"Because you're you." Joe grinned.

"Yeah." I giggled.

We got a table and sat in the back.

And that's pretty much how the date went.

We talked, ate, laughed, and even told each other our secrets.

"So, since we went on our first date. I want to ask you to be my girlfriend." He giggled, putting a strand of my blonde hair behind my ear.

"Yes. I'll be your girlfriend."

Joe pumped his hands in the air and kissed my lips.

Joe Sugg is finally my boyfriend.
