Part Twenty-Seven

"I'm home!" I yelled.

"Ew, Gabby!" I heard Zoe laughing.

"Zoe, that's disgusting." I heard another girl's laugh.

I walked into the room and saw Zoe and a girl with long black hair driving a knife into a pumpkin.

"Hi." I smiled, making their heads shoot up to my direction.

"Damn, Chloe. You scared me!" Zoe laughed.

"Ahh! A spider!" Gabby screamed, getting up and running out the kitchen.

Zoe burst out laughing and yelled out "Gabby!"

I sighed and walked into the kitchen where Alfie was leaning on the counter.

"Hi."

"Hey Chlo." He smiled, giving me a short hug.

"Who's that outside?"

"That's Gabby. Zoe's friend. She's pretty cool." Alfie chuckled.

"That's what you said about Monica." I laughed.

"This time I feel it. That sounded weird." Alfie cackled.

I smiled and took a banana and ran to my room, which was right by the washing machine room.

After about an hour of watching old Joe videos, I decided to go outside and watch some TV with Alfie, Zoe, and this Gabby girl.

I walked into the living room and saw Alfie sitting on the couch, with the remote in his hand. However, he was knocked out.

"Alfie?" I whispered.

He shot up and looked at me.

"What?" He asked.

"Where's Zoe?" I asked, plopping down on the couch next to him.

"She's gone with Gabby to some weird store to but makeup and stuff." Alfie sniffled. "I don't know."

"Oh. I wonder why they didn't invite me..." I sighed.

Alfie shrugged and turned to the TV, which was showing a yellow square boy with a red tie and another pink star with green shorts holding a light purple clam.

"What's this?" I asked, glancing at the TV.

Alfie stared at me wide eyed before he answered.

"Spongebob..." He said in a duh tone.

"I never heard of it." I shrugged.

"What?" Alfie gasped.

I laughed at his reaction.

"Sorry..." I shrugged.

Melanie's POV

"Well, I'll see you two love birds some other times. I hope we can keep in touch and hang out some other time."

"What?" Connor yelled, getting out of Troye's grip. "Where are you going."

"I don't know. Somewhere that's not here. Only because I feel like I'm invading you and Troye's 'space' and I stayed here way more than I said I was going to." I sighed.

"No, Mel. Please. Stay. You are invading I swear. Please." Connor sobbed.

"Connor..."

"Mel..."

"I don't wanna-"

"Please. Just for another week or two." Connor pouted.

I rolled my eyes and laughed, followed by a nod.
