"Yes I want that color painted on that wall and that pattern on the other wall" i order to the employee
I had been up at the restaurant since 8:00 this morning. I dropped Noel off at that daycare Rashad wanted her to go to and i got here.
"Dang I did not expect to see you here A" Talia said walking in chuckling "I thought i was gonna have to go drag you out your bed"
I shook my head "Nope I'm back and better sis"
"That's what i like to hear!" She looked around "Where bad butt at?"
"Don't call my child bad" i giggled "She's at daycare"
Talia gasped and put her hand over her heart "Daycare?!?! You dropped her off at daycare?!"
I nodded
"What happened to all the shit you talked about daycares and how you'd never put your child in one and blah blah blah" Talia said laughing mocking me
I rolled my eyes "Rashad said daycares were okay and that I needed to put Noel in one so she could be social with other kids. I'm still team Nanny but I want our child to grow and Rashad seems certain about daycares"
"Chiiiiile I never thought Id see the day. Hell must have froze" Talia said sipping her drink
"Shut up" i laughed "Where's Cam at?"
"Girl i believe in daycare! Ty dropped him off on his way to handle some business" she said plopping down
"How do y'all do that?" I laughed "I cried in my car after i took Noel in there"
She shoo'd me with her hand "Girl you get used to it."
Me and Talia sat around talking as I got stuff done with the restaurant.
"I gotta go sis, stay here and watch the restaurant?" I asked getting up grabbing my purse
"Sure i ain't got shit else to do" She nodded "Where you off to?"
"Meet with Ty at the club"
"My Ty?" She asked smiling
I rolled my eyes at her goofiness "Yes your Ty, we gotta go the club back jumping. I can't let that shit go while Rashad is locked up and it's already been closed down for so long now"
"Well when you get there tell him this pussy is waiting on him when he get home" She said with a grin
I faked gagged "I'm not telling him that!"
I walked away before she could say anything else sexual outta her mouth. I hopped in my car and drove to the club I walked inside greeting the bartender.
"Hey girl, Ty up in the office?"
She nodded "Yeah knock first though i think he has somebody in there"
I went upstairs, opening the door. Ty was in there talking to some man.
"Well Rashad-"
Their conversation immediately stopped when they saw me.
"Hello" i said looking between them
The man in a suit got up and dapped Ty "Ite man, I'll call you later after i do that"
Ty nodded "Preciate it Clay"
I sat down "Who was that?"
"You nosey ain't you" Ty said chuckling
"Said my mans name so technically it's my business" i said with a smile
He shook his head "That's Rashad lawyer, we gotta keep fighting and try to figure out a way to get him outta there"
"Ty your not doing anything illegal are you?" I asked
He leaned back in his chair "Define illegal"
I rolled my eyes "Just please don't get Rashad caught up in all this, I don't want his time extended because y'all on the outside trynna help illegally"
"Amour you worry to much" he patted his hand with his chest "I got this"
I rolled my eyes chuckling "How's the baby case coming along?"
He smacked his lips "Man that bitch won't let me get a DNA test. She literally refusing. But she wants to tell the whole city this my baby"
"Want me to beat her up?" I asked nonchalantly
"Sticky note that idea cause I might need you to" He said running his hands down his face "I just don't know what imma say to Talia"
"Um the truth" I said in a duh tone "What is up with you niggas? Just tell the truth, we'll love you more because you did"
"Amour handle it for me?"
I scrunched my face up "What? What do you want me to do?!"
"I don't know. Talia is gonna rip Lisa's head off and then ask questions and I don't need that shit right now. I just need you to push her in the right direction as soon as possible" he pleaded
I rolled my eyes "Fine. But don't think i won't whoop her ass too"
He smiled "Thank you! Now let's get into this club stuff, what's on your mind?"
"Y'all have had to close this club for a lot. And the city loves y'all club. Rashad is gonna be away for a long time and I just don't want you and his hard earned money to go down the drain. I want everything to still be progressing so we come home he'll be set"
He nodded "What you wanna do for the club?"
I shrugged "Let's get better drinks, a big VIP section booked and a whole lotta half naked females"
"You sound like a nigga" Ty laughed
"Shut up and write and this down" I said laughing
Me and Ty plotted on the opening of the club next week and he said he'd get right on it. Now I just have to take care of Lisa.
"Hey A" Ty said snapping me out my thoughts as I was headed out the door
He cleared his throat "Next week is Ant's birthday, This our first year with out Ant so uh just check on Rashad and make sure his head on straight while he in there"
I nodded walking out. I had forgotten this was Ant's birthday month and how that must be taken a toll on Ty and Rashad.
