I had been out and about with my dad all day long looking at houses. I know what he's doing, he's in cahoots with Rashad. Since i woke up Rashad had my ass busy and then he handed me off to my dad. I know they were trynna keep me busy because today is my mom's birthday.
"You okay Ariel?" I asked turning around in the passenger seat
She nodded "Yeah"
She had been quiet today in the midst of mom's birthday.
"Why is it so important we look at houses TODAY" i asked my dad
All i wanted to do was mourn my mom on her birthday.
He shrugged "Its no time like the present"
I sighed looking out the window as went from the city to out in the country.
"This is the next house" he said pulling up into a long spiral driveway

"This shit is huge. What happened to you just wanting a nice size house?" I asked
"Is this not a nice size?" He asked looking at me
I chuckled "Dad, literally it's just you and Ariel. This house is big enough for everybody to come move in with you"
He shrugged "I want all the space"
He got out helping me out the car and then getting Ariel out the backseat.
Ariel held my hand as we walked up to the house. My father used a pin code to open the door. We walked inside as my mouth dropped again.
"Whoa" Ariel whispered
"Woah is right. Isn't this a bit much dad?" I asked looking around
"It's a castle" Ariel said running around to look at it
"Ariel come back he-" i yelled but my dad cut me off
