Gerard wipes down the counter top of the bar island, beginning to close for tonight. It's already midnight, he's been putting in extra hours this past week, to earn a bit extra to save up for Mikey's birthday next month. No one's at the bar currently. He just has to clean around a bit before locking up before he heads home for the night.

Though he hears the bell of the front doors ding. Without looking, Gerard just calls to them over the soft music that still plays over the speakers around the bar. "Sorry, we're closing for the night. Come back earlier tomorrow. "

"That's fine, I'm not hear for a drink." Gerard's startled by the voice that he least expected to hear respond. Zach. Turning to see him stood there, and not looking very happy. Gerard stares at him in shock for a moment before getting it together.

"You need to get out of here. Now." Gerard says, stepping out from behind the bar. Crossing his arms, mentally preparing himself for whatever he's going to say or do. Not going to let Zach push him around like he did Bert while they were in a relationship. Gerard isn't aftaid of him, and that isn't going to change.

Zach walks towards him, standing right in front of him. "No, we're gonna have a chat first. You're going to stop seeing Bert, do I make myself clear? Not a visit, not a phone call, text message, nothing. This is a warning, appreciate the fact that you're still breathing after hitting on Bert."

Gerard tenses, a bit intimidated. Zach's much bigger than he is. But Gerard tries to keep his calm, standing up to Zach's demands. "You don't scare me. I am not Bert, you aren't going to boss me around and control me."

"Mine and Bert's relationship is none of your damn business." Zach's raspy voice responds, growing angrier. His piercing hazel eyes staring right into Gerard's. His left eye beginning to twich as he seems to be attempting to control his anger towards Gerard.

"Relationship? No, see that's where you seem to be mistaken. There is no relationship. Bert has moved on, he still isn't even over the trauma you caused him. You had your chance to make him happy. So no, I won't stop seeing him." Gerard says, watching as Zach's nose begins snarling up.

Over Zach's shoulder, he sees Bert entering the bar. Pausing when he sees that Zach's here. Watching panic take over him.

'Go' Gerard mouths to him as Zach doesn't notice him. Bert takes a step back and to the side, leaning against the outside wall of the building panicking over what seems to be happening.

"What would your little brother think about this? Mikey's his name, right? I seen you sending him off on the bus with Bert. He's really beautiful, a spit image of you." Zach says and Gerard's heart nearly stops. He crossed the line at threatening his baby brother.

"I had forgotten my phone at home. Your brother was so kind to have let me borrow his. I was thinking of shooting him a text later." Zach chuckles as he examines the look on the red head's face. Watching the light leave his eyes, watching panic set in.

"Don't you dare fucking threaten my brother. He has no part in this." Gerard says, feeling more and more vulnerable and afraid as the seconds pass by. On edge after the threat about Mikey.

Bert who leans against the wall outside of the bar panicking, glances back into the bar. Seeing the petrified expression on Gerard's face, Zach's clenched fists. Bert takes a deep and shaky breath before entering the bar again. There's no way he's going to let him hurt Gerard.
