"Alright, class," Mr. Lopez chimed in, quieting the class, "It looks like we are all set so, let's begin." He then cleared his voice, puffed his chest, and held his hand out like hamlet. "Flowers...," he said and then continued to read the poem. It was short and simple, cute and light-hearted, plus it rhymed. You observed your classmates as he read and noticed how one of them looked away from the others. You also could have sworn you saw a slight blush, Bingo... When ended he looked up and smiled, "Any guesses?" Everyone in the room sat there, looking at the other students. However, none of them seemed to have a single clue. You raised a hand up, catching Mr. Lopez's attention. "Yes, [Y/N]," he asked bouncing a bit.

"I believe that the poem was written by Cindy," you stated as you watched her snap towards you dumbfounded. You pretended like you didn't notice it as you stared at Mr. Lopez's rising grin.

"You got it right," he cheered. You turned to Undyne you stared at you with wide-eyes. You simply smirked and winked at her. Snapping her back to reality which she then playfully huffed. "Would you like candy or a better grade?" Your grades were already off the chart. Straight A's and nothing but 90's or above...

He wouldn't have it any other way...

"Candy please," you answered as Mr. Lopez hopped off his desk and walked over with a woven basket. You looked inside and seen it was filled with chocolates, sour candies, mints, and gum. So you grabbed [your favorite candy] and placed it on top of your desk. You were ready to win this game.

Right now, you and Undyne were tied. Since you would always get the answer right, Mr. Lopez wouldn't let you answer sometimes. Allowing Undyne to get the win but, right now it was neck and neck. With only a couple minutes left in class.

"Alright, it seems we only have enough for one more," Mr. Lopez disclosed as he glanced at his watch. "This poem is called, Flying Dream." When you heard this you mentally screamed, this was my poem! Mr. Lopez then began to read...

"I take Flight, feeling the breeze and birds being one with me.

Into the night, where the moon is the brightest light.

With the stars, as my friends flying with me in the distance.

And the city below, with lights in the windows fading one by one like embers in a fire.

I feel free and alive in this moment...

Then my eyes finally open..."

Everyone in the class was shocked as he ended, some even had their mouth hanging open. At this moment you wanted to crawl into a hole and die, however, you kept your cool. Just like before you threw your hand up in the air, pretending like you knew the answer.

Well, you did know the answer...

Mr. Lopez looked at you in confusion about to open his mouth. You winked and shook a single finger with your other hand, mouthing no. He still seemed confused but, went with it. Ignoring your hand and choosing someone else's.

Mr.Lopez was such a great guy.

As time passed by, everyone's answer was getting worse and worse. Nobody thought that you could write something like that, which was your advantage. Not to mention how you had your hand raised, shaking it desperately as if you had to pee really badly. It was the perfect win. Undyne, on the other hand, grew more frustrated with every wrong answer and the clock was ticking...

"Has everyone given up," Mr. Lopez asked as everyone groaned, wanting this to be over with. Some people have given up after the 5th guess and went on their phones.

"No," Undyne fumed as she slammed her fist on her desk. She was really worked up. She glanced at you as you began to do flag signaling with your arms. Which only ticked her off more.

"So do you have the answer," Mr. Lopez teased, arching a brow. Undyne opened her mouth only to shut it again. She then looked away and crossed her arms, grumbling. "Okay. [Y/N] do you have the answer," he giggled, knowing that you knew.

"Yeah," you grinned. Suddenly everyone pulled their eyes off their phones and stopped chatting. They all noticed how you got the answer on your first try so if anyone could get it. It would be you.

"Then who wrote the poem," he questioned.

"Easy," you shrugged, "I did." Everyone eye's widened as they snapped to Mr. Lopez who smiled ear to ear.

"You got," he cheered as he walked over with the basket. You grabbed another piece of candy and added it to your little pyramid of sweets. The entire class went berserk, especially Unydne.

"You cheated," she growled, pointing a finger at you in anger. However, you knew she wasn't going to hurt you.

"No," you answered putting your prizes in your bag. Slinging your bag over your shoulder. "I was just smart," you sassed pushing your chair in. The bell then rang as you walked to the door with a hand up. "Don't worry about buying me anything, that was fun. See ya around Undyne." Without another word, you left. Leaving the poor fish to catch flies in her hanging mouth.

Off to your next class...
