"Hey kid," you greeted sending a slight wave. Beside you, your sister was waving erratically with a large grin on her face.
"Hey [Y/N]," MK cheered. Shaking his head back and forth as if waving back. It was adorable.
"Where's Frisk," you questioned as you scanned the streets. Searching for a brown tuft of hair or their iconic sweater.
"Oh, they wanted a friend to walk with them here," MK explained his tailing swinging quickly behind him. Whipping the stray leaves on the floor around.
"YEAH MORE FRIENDS," Skyla beamed loudly. You chuckled as she hopped around from excitement. You loved how she was always so, positive. Believing that everything will turn out okay. Even when times were extremely dark and damp. Sometimes, you wished you still had that trait. But...
That disappeared ages ago.
Skyla and MK chatted with each other about the new friend. However, you weren't paying attention. Your focus was on the figures in the air, flying here and there. Wings of every color and size from each new person. A pair of American robin wings on a woman with a waitress outfit. European starling wings on a businessman, who was flying with his phone. Not safe. Blue jay wings on a young teenager with anime clothes. Hummingbird wings on a cheery hyper little girl. It was always amazing to watch. Yet, your eyes were drawn to the darkest wings in the sky. A pair of large black carrion crow wings. It seemed as if the person was holding a child in their arms. For some people, doing something like that would be a huge problem. However, they flew so effortlessly. The perfectly timed flaps of their wings. The gracefulness as they weaved around people. It was astonishing.
"Hey, its Frisk," burst MK as he hopped in front of your view. Snapping you out of your trance. You eyed the ground, finding no Frisk.
"What do you mean," you asked as you twisted your head around. Finding no Frisk. "I don't see them anywhere," you stated.
"Their in the sky," he said as he continued to stare up. You peered up to notice that the crow from before, was flying lower and lower. "Their landing right now," he smiled.
You inspected the sky to see nobody else attempting to land, other than the crow. So, they must be Frisk's friend, you thought still watching. As they drew near, the breeze began to pick up. Slowly flapped their wings for a soft landing. Making the grass around us push backwards and stray strands of your [h/c] hair. Until everything stopped as they placed their feet down. Quickly vanishing their beautiful wings away. Releasing Frisk, who stood slightly at the same height. However, you could make out the color white from the top of their head. Frisk turned as the crow removed their goggles- still in the way.
"Hey guys," Frisk signed with a smile, "I want you to meet my new friend." With that, they side-stepped revealing the person finally.
Wait!
Isn't that...
