"Hey [Y/N] hurry up," Skyla called as she bounced in the open doorway.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," you answered as you placed the last dish onto the dish rack. She has been so excited this morning and you didn't know why. You were going to ask during breakfast but, she wolfed down her food and dashed to the bathroom. It's like it's not a bad thing that she is this excited, it's just strange to see it so early in the morning. Not to mention that it was a school day. You leaned down and grabbed your bag which was resting against the sink. "Why are you so excited," you questioned as you walked towards her.

"I want you to meet my new friends," she beamed. Ah, that's it, you thought as you sling your bag over your shoulder.

"Are they the new kids at your bus stop," you asked as stepped out the door. You turned your back and closed it, giving it another small tug to make sure it was closed. It was.

"Yeah," she smiled, "They're really nice! Even though, I can't fully understand Frisk because they talk in sign language. But, that's okay!"

"Oh, they know sign language," you grinned as you turned back towards Skyla. You loved seeing her like this.

"Yeah," she cheered as she threw her hands up, causing her white shirt to raise a bit. "They're really fast and it's cool to watch. I want to learn how," she said as she moved her hands around, pretending like she was signing. You laughed quietly as you ruffled her hair.

"If you want I can teach you," you suggested as you began to walk away from your house. You heard a small gasp behind you and a furry of steps rushing towards you.

"REALLY," Skyla inquired, her eyes seemed to sparkle and shine. If she was some sort of cartoon character she would have huge stars in her eyes.

"Sure can," you smirked. At the cafe, there was this little boy who would come every Wednesday with his mom. He would always have a smile and would leave you the cutest little pictures, which you would hang in the cafe. However, you noticed how he would sign with his mom back and forth. As a surprise, you learned sign language so you two could talk to each other. You still remember the look on his face, when you signed how much you loved the picture he gave you. It was great but, he moved away last year and you haven't seen him since. You missed him but, you still had his drawings to remember him by. You always keep little things like that...

People always leave you.

"Oh my god, this day just got better," Skyla said as she spun in front of you. The rest of the walk was filled with Skyla talking about how great she'll be at sign language and stuff. However, you were quiet and listened to every word. You wanted to soak up every ounce of sister time before you went to school. Knowing that you were going to be bullied and teased. Not to mention that the new kids probably would want nothing to do with you. It was nice while it lasted. You soon neared the bus stop and there stood the same kids as before. Skyla jumped in excitement when the kids came into sight. "Come on [Y/N]!"

"Woah," you yelped as she quickly grabbed your hand and began to drag you there. It seemed to attract the other kids' attention as they turned towards you two.

Frisk P.O.V

We turned to see Skyla dragging another person, who was older. It looked like they were wearing a white shirt that had a hood with a black leather jacket on top. They also had cream ripped jeans, black high tops, and a [f/c] worn out satchel. Their long [h/c] hair was tied up into a high tail with a white scrunchie and their [e/c] eyes were cold. They looked tough and mean, however, the smile on their face as Skyla dragged them, seemed otherwise.

"Hey, Skyla," cheered Monster Kid. He was wearing the same thing as usual. The yellow and brown poncho, long brown boots, and his father's goggles. I smiled and waved enthusiastically towards the two. Hopefully, she is nice to monsters, I thought. I watched as the mystery person began to get pulled at a quicker pace by Skyla. This only caused her to chuckle quietly and shake her head as she followed. When they were finally in front of us, Skyla let go of the older person's hand.

"Sheesh, Sky," she said as Skyla looked up at her, "Next time you want me to go somewhere faster, just tell me. No reason to drag me around like a ragdoll."

"It's not my fault you walk so slow," Skyla reasoned as she puffed her cheeks out. They seemed pretty close. Could they be family? Now that I thought of it, they did have the same hair color and looked a bit similar.

"It's fine," the mystery person answered as her [e/c] eyes turned towards us. "Hi, I'm [Y/N], Skyla's older sister," she greeted as she put her hands in her pocket. So they are family!

"HI," Monster Kid beamed, "I'm Monster Kid but, some people like to call me MK." Monster Kid then pointed his head towards me and said, "This is my friend Frisk." I simply smiled and waved. Sometimes it sucked not being able to talk. Not a lot of people understood sign language which only made things harder. Not to mention more frustrating.

"Ah," [Y/N] said as she took her hands out of her pockets. "Nice to meet you two," she signed. I stood there baffled, she knew sign language. I looked up at her to find her smirking signing again, "What kid didn't expect me to know sign language?" I simply shook my head and smiled.

"No not at all," I signed.

"It's no problem a lot of people would think the same thing," she signed back smiling, "Anyways how my sister been treating you?"

"Really great," I beamed, "She was very kind." Skyla was the only one in school to accept the monsters. She tried to become all of their friends, which of course made everyone's day.

"Good! Cause if she wasn't I may have had to sit on her when we got home," [Y/N] joked. I laughed as well as Monster Kid.

"What are you guys talking about," Skyla asked. I turned to find her with a confused look and her arms crossed over her chest.

"Nothing much. Aliens, love, and the meaning of life," [Y/N] teased shrugging, "the usual." I giggled again with Monster Kid while Skyla whined in the background. [Y/N] was really nice as well as funny. I watched as [Y/N] ruffled Skyla's head, they were both wearing huge smiles. I smiled and thought, maybe I should introduce her to sans. Suddenly all the jokes ended as we head the bus in the distance. We all quieted down as it pulled up and came to a stop, opening the doors for us to enter.

"Bye [Y/N]," Monster Kid said as he waved his tail goodbye.

"See ya MK," she smiled. Monster Kid then ran onto the bus, almost falling. Oh, Monster Kid.

"Bye [Y/N]," I signed.

"Bye Frisk," she signed back. I then turned climbing up the steel steps onto the bus. Like yesterday the bus was packed. Some kids smiled at me because I was kind. While other kids glared at me because I brought the monsters up. However, I ignored it as I went to sit in the back with Monster Kid. As I sat down Skyla climbed onto the bus and went towards the seat next to us, which had a froggit in it. After we were all seated the bus started up and drove off. I stared out the window to see [Y/N] watching the bus for a while. Until she turned around and began to walk in a different direction. I wonder if she is going off to school.
