[Y/N] POV
Like always you sat in your beloved tree with your white hood up. Your eyes were closed as you tried to shut out all of your thoughts. As well as the outside world, however, it was hard. Everything was so loud and wanted attention. So, you were trying to drown it out by blasting your left eardrum with a great remix. However, as said before...
It was hard.
You couldn't get it out of your head. Even when you were meeting your sister's new friends. You tried to be normal, sassy, funny, 'happy' like always. But throughout the entire time, the memory swirled in your head. The pain, the shadow, the night, the b-
"hey," a voice called below you, breaking you out of your thoughts. You turned slightly and peeked your eyes open. To find the short skeleton and his friends below you. They were all looking up at you with confusion and suspicion as you sighed quietly.
"Yeah," you replied closing your eyes, facing forward again.
"are you the same person from yesterday," the short skeleton asked. You could hear the leaves crunching his feet as he shifted his weight. Not to mention the seriousness in his voice, why did it matter?
"Yup," you answered as you popped the 'p'. You heard whispers, well, an attempt at whispering. Undyne and Papyrus were always so loud.
"See I told you the punk may be here again," Undyne said. Even with your eyes being closed you could see the smirk on Undyne's face. Wide and proud.
"IT SEEMED LIKE YOU WERE CORRECT UNDYNE," Papyrus replied, "HOWEVER, I-"
"why," the short skeleton inquired louder over everyone, quieting them. You shifted your head and opened your eyes, staring straight into his white eyes.
"Why wouldn't I," you stated as you swung your legs over the branch. Hopping off and landing a couple of feet in front of him. "He is a good person, who did nothing wrong," you explained as you shrugged your shoulders, "Not to mention how he reminds me a bit of my sister. I just simply did the right thing." The short skeleton seemed to bore holes into your head. By how hard he stared at you. Picking you part, trying to seem if there was a hidden truth or lie. However, there was none. In the distance, you heard the loud ring from the school bell. Time for school. With that, you turned around and began to walk away.
"Wait," a voice called, you turned to see Undyne. With her hand outstretched as if she was about to grab you. When your eyes meet her's she put her hand down by her side.
"Who are you punk," asked Undyne.
"Undyne I'm wounded," you teased playfully as you placed a hand on your chest, "I thought we had a blast during L.A together yesterday." You watched as she narrowed her eyes, thinking really hard. Until her eyes widened a bit as she knew excatly who you were.
"[Y/N]," she mumbled.
Sans POV
After Undyne mumbled [Y/N]'s name, we watched as the figure pulled down their white hood. The light hit their face, allowing us to finally see who they were. They had [s/c] skin and long [h/c] hair which was tied up. They wore a large smirk across their face and their [e/c] eyes, seemed to sparkle with mischief. I knew this person. They were in 3 of my classes. They were the person who I couldn't get out of my mind all day. [Y/N], I thought as my mouth hung open a bit.
"See you guys around," she ended as she turned and walked away. We all watched as she disappeared into the sea of students.
"Holy crap! I would have never thought it was her," Undyne shouted as she threw her left hand onto her head. "She really is good at hiding things," she muttered as she slid the hand down to her neck. Rubbing it as she shook her head slightly.
"Y- yeah," Alphys chimed in as she adjusted her glasses.
"Come on let's go see if we can find her," Undyne cheered as she grabbed Alphys, who squeaked. Then ran off into the building in search of [Y/N].
"HEY WAIT UP," shouted Papyrus as he raced after her, only a bit behind. I simply watched as they disappeared and sighed. I began to mosey inside while my mind raced. So, the figure from yesterday was [Y/N]. It explains how the figure was so fast yesterday, I reasoned with myself. Remembering how [Y/N] ran during gym class as I weaved between the bodies. It was as if she was the wind herself from how fast she was running. That makes sense. I then began to through the list of what I knew and didn't know about her, comparing it with the figure. They both had the same [f/c] bag and the same shape. Not to mention, now that I think of it they had the same calming voice. I kept going through when suddenly I remembered something. Wait...
Does that mean she was soaked yesterday during lunch?
An image flashed in my head. A figure in a soaked [f/c] hoodie, damp black jeans, dry sneakers, and semi-dry [f/c] satchel walking away. The memory left as quick as it came, however, it brought worry. Was that her, I thought as I stepped into the science classroom. I scanned the class in hopes of finding her, but she wasn't there. I sighed and shook my head, walking to my seat. Placing my bag down and rested my head in my hand, staring at the door.
Waiting...
After a bit, the bell rang and [Y/N] stood in the doorway. Her hands were in her jacket pockets, her bag hanging loosely on her side, and a calm look over her face. She began to walk to her desk, steps being light and quiet. She glanced at each person in the room, observing them as they ignored her. When she neared my desk, her eyes landed on me catching me. A smile tugged on her lips as she strolled on. My eyes and head followed her until she sat down, talking to Alphys. I groaned quietly rubbed my face, twisting away. No, it couldn't have been her.
It just couldn't...
