Dowoon mustered up the courage to send a message first.

Are you already on the bus?

A message came back: Yes.

DW: so you know I'm not there yet.

CH: yeah so?

DW: you don't care?
DW: at all?

CH: I'm trying to hate you. Remember?

DW: I'm sorry.

CH: for?

DW: acting senseless and stupid. I shouldn't have shown you the letter.

CH: it doesn't change the fact that you still wrote it to her.

DW: Can you just act normal with me like you used to before?

CH: can you hurry up and get here on time. We're about to get off the bus.

DW: it's not far from my apartment. I'll make it in time.

CH: goodbye.

DW: wait.
DW: I'm baking cookies right now as a Valentines Day gift.

CH: are you gonna ask me to taste them to see if she'll like it this time?

DW: no no
DW: I made them for you.

There was no response after his last message. She hadn't even read the message, it just said delivered.

The oven timer beeped and Dowoon quickly got up and took out the cookies for them to cool down.

Once Dowoon was done he packed the cookies and went to change his clothes.

"Hyung I'm ready." He told Jae who was waiting in the living room.

"Call Brian, he said he wanted to go along to drop you off."

The three guys got into Jae's car and drove off.

"Let's stop by the flower shop." Brian told Jae.

"Are you paying for my gas?"

Brian sighed. "Sure I'll pay."

After stopping by to pick up some flowers, Brian hopped back into the vehicle with two bouquets.

"You couldn't choose?" Jae asked.

"I got one for Dowoon."

"So Dowoon does like someone??" Jae asked and turned to look at him. "That's new."

Dowoon shyly looked away and took the bouquet from Brian's hand. "Thank you."

When they arrived at the amusement park, Dowoon got out. "I'll take the bus back to my class, can you pick me from there?"

"You're contributing to gas too." Jae asserted. "Do I look like you guys' driver??" He sounded so offended.

"Seriously?? It's not like you have any other thing to do." Brian intervened before turning to Dowoon. "Don't forget to give it to who you like."

Dowoon nodded and smiled. He called IU to let her know he was at the entrance so she could bring him his ticket to get in.

"Why'd you have to say that? He's obviously going to give it to who he likes." Jae said on their ride back.

"Nah, he's confused."

"I'm confused."

"He thinks he likes someone he doesn't. It seems he likes her as a fan not as a girlfriend?? If that makes any sense."

"It doesn't."

"Just like it doesn't make sense you don't want to admit your feelings for Jimin." Brian retorted.

"Dude. We're just friends. Nothing more."

"Yeah that's why you kissed her." Brian responded sarcastically.

Chaeyoung watched as IU went to the entrance to get Dowoon. She saw the bouquet of roses and a white box in Dowoon's hand. A rush of jealousy overwhelmed her again.

"You made it on time!" IU said excitedly after getting Dowoon inside.

Immediately Dowoon walked in, he tried to spot Chaeyoung. When he did, he lifted the bouquet high and waved with it.

She looked away and ignored him.

"You brought those for someone?" IU asked.

"Yeah. This is for you." He simply said and handed over the bouquet to her. "Happy Valentines Day." He said emotionless and ran over to meet Chaeyoung.

"What the-" IU stood there confused.

Sungjin was getting ready to go out. His plan was to leave before Jae and Brian got back to avoid any more questions from Jae.

He spent time putting together an outfit and felt so excited until Wonpil walked into the room.

"Hyung are you dating someone?" He asked Sungjin in a low voice.

"No." The leader looked at him. "I'm not."

"You should. It's been almost five months so you can forget about what happened. Don't let it hold you back."

Wonpil bringing up the past just brought back all the guilt Sungjin had been trying to avoid.

The excitement left and he almost wanted to cancel his plans with Jihyo.

"You should date someone too." He responded. "Don't make it too hard for yourself."

"I can't." Wonpil looked down and poked his palm with his finger. "I shouldn't. Even if I like someone, I shouldn't."

"You just made today depressing for me. Thank you very much." The leader said and forced a smile.

"I didn't mean to." He scratched his head. "I was just reminded of her today."

"Wonpil don't punish yourself for something you weren't responsible for."

"I'm not." He laid on his bed and pulled the blanket over his head. "Have fun at your date."

"I said I'm not dating-"

"Hyung please tell Jae I'm not in the mood for crap today."

Sungjin stood there for a while, looking for the right comforting words.
