chapter 20

As planned, Brian got to the hotel first.

Without going to the front desk, he went directly to the room to avoid people. Their reserved room was an entire suite, with a semi living room. There was already a food order to be brought to the room at 6pm.

Jeongyeon arrived all covered up with a scarf and sunglasses, which made Brian laugh.

She also had a gift bag with her.

He chuckled and hugged her. "This is awkward and I don't know what to do but let's talk after eating."

"I'm not hungry. I'll be in the room."

Brian waited for the food  to arrive before going to the room.

If she wasn't eating, he wasn't eating either.

"What's wrong?" He took off his jacket and sat on the bed beside where she was laying.

She used a pillow to cover her face.

"Why?" Brian chuckled. "Are you shy? We're not doing anything."

"Cramps." Her voice was sort of muffled as she spoke into the pillow.

"Oh right. What can I do to make you feel better."

She chuckled. "You can't."

"Maybe if you eat, you'll feel better??"

She shook her head.

He pulled the pillow away from her face. "If it was this bad. We could've just canceled this."

"I still wanted to see you though."

"At least, get up. Let's sit in the living room and talk." He said and placed a kiss on her forehead.

Jeongyeon felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and it made her sink her back into the bed.

"Move away." She warned before sneezing.

She flew off the bed at the speed of light, grabbed her purse and ran to the bathroom.

"What's wrong? Are you ok??"

"Give me a second." Jeongyeon said from the bathroom. "Can you wait for me in the living room?"

She quickly took out a tampon from her purse.

She looked at the back of her pants in the mirror and held her chest in relief.

Brian stood awkwardly, waiting for her to come out.

"I said to wait for me in the living room..." She said as she shyly walked out.

"I wanted to make sure you're fine."

"Can I use your jacket-"

"Of course." He gave it to her. "Do you feel sick?"

"I'm fine."

"Are you in pain?"

"It's not as bad as yesterday." She quickly tied the jacket around her waist and walked over to the living room. He followed.

"What did you order?" She asked.

"Pasta."

"That's so cliche."

"You don't have to eat it." Brian retorted and sat down. "Come over here." He tapped his thighs indicating for her to sit.

"Mister. I'm in a bit of a situation-"

"It doesn't matter." He pulled her hand and she landed on him.

He placed his head on her shoulder from the back and wrapped his hands around her stomach. "It was just a prank, right?"

"Well the plan was for us to be embarrassed," Jeongyeon said putting her hand over his. "we're embarrassed quite alright."

"You're the one embarrassed. It doesn't bother me. I'm happy I get to be with you even in moments like this."

"Oouuukay let's eat." She awkwardly stood up from his legs and brought the tray closer. "Looks good." She lifted up a plate and handed it to him.

"Thank you."

"Will this be enough for you? I heard you love to eat a lot."

"I'm gonna kill Jae."

"Jae didn't tell me. Your fans all know it."

"I can control my habit in front of you."

"You don't have to, you can have some of mine if you want."

"Ouuuu." He tapped her excitedly. "I've always wanted to do this."

"What?"

"Lady and Tramp. Let's eat the same strand and kiss."

Jeongyeon's jaw dropped. "I've been dating a 5 year old."

"Aww, I really want to do it." He whined like a child.

"No. We're not children."

"Just this once." He pouted.

"Ah you're so childish." She sighed. "Fine, get the strand."

He used his fork to pick up a strand of spaghetti and she put one end in her mouth the the other end in his.

As they got closer and closer, she burst out laughing.

"You spat on me." Brian pulled his head back.

"I-I'm sorry." Jeongyeon was still laughing. "This is so dramatic. Why don't we just kiss without the strand."

"Nooo." He wiggled his body like a child. "The strand is the key point."

"You're hopeless." She said picking up a new strand.

They started chewing on it again and when their lips met, they kissed.

"Are we good now?" Jeongyeon laughed as she asked. "I'm so lucky to see the duality of Young K." Her eyes landed on a guitar case leaning on the wall. "You're gonna play?"

He nodded, slurping down the pasta.

She smiled at him beautifully. "You're so adorable."

He smiled and pushed out his lips for another kiss but she pushed them back with her fingers.

"Hurry and finish eating, I wanna give you something." She said.

When he was done, she brought out the gift bag and gave it to him. "Happy Valentines Day."

He took out the box inside and opened it to see a bass strap. He looked up and smiled. "Thank you."

"Use it well."

"I will." He stood up and picked up the guitar and bouquet as well. "First, here you go." He gave her the roses and sat her down.

"I wrote this for you." He stood in front of her and started to sing.

It felt like a solo performance at a concert.

When he was done, she clapped like a seal. He knelt in front of her and looked into her eyes.

"I love you."

Because none of them had said that to each other in a while, it threw Jeongyeon off. She just stared instead of responding.

"You don't love me?" Brian questioned.

"I do."

"Then let me hear it at least today."

She pulled him to get up and stood up as well. Then she wrapped her hands around his neck. "I love you so much." She said and hugged him tightly.

o my fooking dhhdhd i finally listened to the entire entropy album (like three weeks ago lol) & i totally recommend !!!! deep in love, not fine, rescue me, stop talking, ouch, about now, like a flowing wind, not mine ,,,i love the other songs but the ones i listed are the ones ive listened to the most
