chapter 4

Day6's apartment:

Brian was staring at the screen of his phone when Sungjin walked towards the door to put on his shoes.

"You're leaving this early?"

"I have to meet up earlier."

"With cutie?" Brian mouthed the words.

"Yes and stop being overly secretive, someone's gonna find out that way."

"So you're admitting there's something going on with you guys?"

"Going on with who?" Jae walked into the living room. He dropped his body on the sofa, sitting on Brian's feet.

"Ow." Brian whimpered. "Was that necessary??"

"I do it for your reaction." Jae replied with a grin and Brian rolled his eyes.

"WONPIL." Sungjin yelled. "WE'RE GONNA BE LATE."

"He's going with you ?" Jae asked. "Why?"

"We can bring someone other than our manager for moral support."

"And. You're. Taking. Him." Jae blinked twice, pushing his head backwards. "Interesting."

"Do you throw shade at everyone in this family??" Brian used his foot to kick Jae's side as he asked.

"What family?"

"Ugh you're so annoying."

Wonpil and Dowoon walked out of the room together.

"You're leaving right now too?" Sungjin asked the maknae.

"Yeah, I should've left earlier."

"Ok we can take the same taxi." Sungjin concluded and waited for wonpil to put on his shoes.

"Or I can drive you guys ??" Jae offered.

"No thank you."

"Whyyy, we can save money on taxi fare."

"Don't you still buy gas??" Wonpil questioned.

"I wasn't talking to you." Jae gave him a sarcastic look before jumping up and grabbing the keys from the center table.

"What did Hyungnim say about driving without his consent ?" Brian tried taking the keys from his hand.

"What am I? 15? Let's go children." Jae also put on his shoes.

"I guess I'm going too." Brian got up as well. He picked up a piece of paper that had fallen from dowoon's bag.

He flipped it over and it turned out to be a love letter.

Twice's apartment:

"Yeah i have to leave early to meet someone, why?" Jihyo responded.

"No.. nothing. Who are you meeting?" Nayeon asked.

"That, you don't have to know." The leader smiled and put her plate in the sink. "Thank you." She patted Jeongyeon on the back with a smile.

"So you coming?" Nayeon turned to Mina who nodded back. "She's following me to give me moral support." She added when the other girls were questioning with their faces.

"Oh right, we can do that." Jihyo was reminded. "You wanna follow me?"

"Sure." Jeongyeon nodded, "I'll quickly take a shower." She said and left the kitchen with her.

After Jeongyeon was done, the same five girls met up in the living room.

"The other actors are allowed to bring someone as well right?" Mina asked Nayeon.

"Yeah, he said something about wonpil I'm not sure."

After Nayeon's statement Jihyo looked up confused, then she tilted her head.

"What's wrong?" Jeongyeon nudged her.

"No nothing." She smiled. "I'm just nervous."

"Unnie." Chaeyoung moved close to Jeongyeon. "Since you have experience I'm just asking."

"Mhmm."

"How do you know if someone has a crush on you?"

"You think someone does?"

"I don't know... it's bugging me."

"You like him?"

"Yeah.."

"Did he confess his feelings to you?"

"No.."

"Then he probably doesn't like you."

"Unnie!!!"

"Guys, we're gonna be late, let's go." Jihyo hurried them up and they all left to enter their manager's car.

Day6 was on their way as they all squeezed themselves in Jae's vehicle. Brian was in the front and the rest were in the back.

"I'll drop you off first dowoon." Jae said and the maknae nodded.

When they pulled up, another car pulled up in front of them.

Dowoon hopped out of the vehicle and moved over to the passenger window.

He waved at them.

"I'll come pick you up, just call me when you're done." Jae said.

He nodded and was about to leave when Brian snuck his hand outside the window and placed the paper in his hand.

"I guess you'll need this ??" He whispered, making sure his head was blocking Jae or the others from seeing what it was.

Dowoon's eyes widened. "Thank you hyung."

"What's that?"

"Money." Brian replied to Jae's question and rolled the glass back up.
