"Pass me my shoes."

"I can't pass you your shoes, I'm doing my eyeshadow."

"I'm trying to zip my dress up."

"My hair looks like a rat's nest right now, I can't waste time."

Well, Prom is an exciting time.

Currently, the four of us girls are getting ready for Prom. It was down to business here at Grace's. We did it at her house cause she didn't want to carry all her makeup to someone else's house.

The plan was that the four of us would get ready together and then our boys would pick us up. Grace also happened to have a really nice staircase that she really wants pictures with.

Anyway, the chaos is on at T-minus 15.

"Your hair is fine. I need my shoes!"

I look at her in confusion, "This?" I point to my hair, "Is fine?"

"Yes. Now, shoes," Grace reaches over to her shoes.

"Grab then yourself, you aren't doing anything."

Grace looks at me in disappointment, "I need to apply lipstick."

"T-minus 10!" Alex yells from the other room.

I turn my attention back to my hair. The strip of blue had faded and was nowhere to be seen. I guess I should've expected that, it was temporary after all.

I fumble and jumble with my hair trying to think of the perfect way to style it.

My phone buzzes with a text from James. I can't help but smile at his name popping up on my phone. He doesn't know if he should wear a bow tie or a tie.

Bow ties are sexier.

"Yo Stef," I call her over, "What should I do?"

"Low bun, definitely a sexy low bun."

I smile and nod. Stef walks over and takes my hair out of my grasp. She works her magic and fixes it up into a lose but sexy bun. She adds little diamonds around the side that match with the ones on my dress.

"Are you sure you don't want to do this for a living?"

She laughs and pats my shoulders, "I'm sure."

I walk out of the bathroom, leaving Grace in there alone, and going to the bedroom with Stef.

"So," She begins when she realizes we're alone in Grace's room, "Blue just happens to be my color, huh?"

I laugh a little, "It happens to be more than just your color."

Stef blushes and looks up at me, "Thank you."

"For what?"

"For being there for me. For being the best friend ever."

"I'm just being a good wingwoman," I shrug my shoulders and smile.

She looks up at me, "You're too good to me."

"As long as this one doesn't break your heart, I've done my job."

Stef laughs and hugs me, "I think you have."

I laugh and hug her back, "I hope so."

"I know so," She whispers so very quietly to me.

Everyone has a soft spot for Pretty Boy Chase.

"So, what's your ideal promposal?" I asked Stef.

"Haven't we talked about this already?"

I gave her my best confused face, "We have?"

"Yeah."
