"Did I tell you how much I hate this?"
"We're almost there."
"It's Wednesday lunch which means we have half of Wednesday left and all of Thursday before I shut down."
Edward laughs, "You're fine."
"Says the valedictorian," I roll my eyes.
"Are we meeting today?" Edward changes the subject.
I nod, "Yup, I already told my parents to make food for four."
"The alliteration compels me."
"To do what?"
"Not come over so it becomes food for three."
I laugh and shove him slightly, "The meanies are in the air lately."
"The meanies?"
I look at him and smile, "This virus that's going around. The one that's making everyone mean."
He laughs, "I think that's called sleep deprivation."
"I disagree, it's the meanies."
"Now I know why you hate finals week."
I furrow my eyebrows, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"That you're dumb."
"Hey," I slap his arm, "I'm tempted to make it food for three."
Edward just laughs and walks away from me, making his way to his class.
-*-
"So, please tell me, how's Grayson?"
"Very good in bed."
I choke on the bagel I was eating, "What?"
"You heard me."
"Did I, though?"
Edward laughs and takes a sip of his coffee, "Yes."
"I can't believe it. When? I need details! Why isn't anyone telling me about these life changing events? What if you're pregnant? You used protection, right?"
"Lucy," Edward stops me, "Are you done?"
"No. Are you top or bottom?" I nod my head in content, "Okay, I'm done now."
Now it's Edward's turn to choke and his laugh causes him to spit coffee. I cover my face with my hands as best as possible. The man's got range.
"Girl, you know I'm a bottom."
I laugh, "So Grayson's the alpha male, interesting."
"Shut up, virgin."
"Hey, you have no right."
"I think I have all the right."
"I hate it when you're right."
Edward smiles but then goes serious again, "So, you and James, have ya?"
I shake my head, "No, No!"
"Sorry for asking," He pure his hands up defensively, "You guys have just been together for a while now and with all the foreplay from before you dated."
"Stop talking," I stop Edward, "We've joked about it, and kinda talked about it."
"'Kinda talked about it?'"
"It came up, I don't know, I said we should talk more about it."
"Talk more about sex?"
"We're both virgins," I shrug my shoulders, "It's a big step."
