"When I say you radiate big dick energy, I mean it."
"Umm, I don't have a big dick though?"
"Fake it till you make it."
"I don't even have a dick, how?" the bewildering look I was sporting was enough to convey my thoughts.
"You are a badass. That's the big dick energy," Edward explains.
"Whatever you say. I know there are other people with big dicks that you'd much rather enjoy," I wink at him.
A slight blush covers his cheeks and he looks away, "I don't know what you're talking about."
"I'll go with the flow, for now," I smile at Edward.
"Leave me alone," He pouts.
"You said I could meddle. Your girl gonna meddle."
"I regret my life," He says and shakes his head.
"Blah blah, if you weren't a pussy you wouldn't be regretting it," I state back.
"Take a page from your own book, Lucy, I don't see you running towards," He begins.
"Shut up. I don't regret my life," I fight back.
"Oh, I think you do. It's in your eyes," Edward smiles knowingly.
"I have Chase now," I mumble.
Edward nods his head, "Sure, because he's your endgame."
I try to defend Chase, "He could be!"
"I may be new here, but a boy that's known for winking at girls isn't someone I see you with."
"I dunno, maybe it's a defense mechanism."
Edward rolls his eyes, "I know you're not as dumb as you look."
"Hey!" I slap his arm.
He laughs at me and walks on like he didn't just insult me.
"Can we just agree we're both sad?" I pout, knowing I won't win the fight.
"I mean we could but where would that get us?"
"To the end of this conversation," I remark.
It's a wonder Edward and I are friends. These stupid fights go on practically every day. I'm still surprised one of us hasn't snuck through the dark and killed the other. We're both so loud and obnoxious it's hard for one of us to give in, in a nonsexual way. Of course, the benefits of this friendship: we get to talk about guys together. You never realize how much intel a guy has about other guys. He's my encyclopedia on how to get me, and him, a man. It's a more difficult task than you would think. We're stubborn complicated beings.
"Feisty, I like it," Edward laughs.
"Never say that to me again. I don't want to turn you on,"
"You wish you could," Edward smiles, "You lack some dick though."
"You just said I have big dick energy,"
"I can't suck that though."
"You nasty!"
"Just saying," He puts his arms up defensively.
"Boys are impossible," I exasperate.
"Actually, were quite simple. That's why I prefer them over you complicated girls,"
"I'm kinda offended but like, true," I laugh.
"Folks, she's a laugher," Edward joins in.
We finish our little banter and dive back in to the beneficial studying we were doing. Basically, every Friday we get together and do all our homework so we don't have to worry about it over the weekend. We're so smart, geniuses in the making.
