"Okay, but put on this matte lipstick. It's a dark nude and will go perfectly with the cat-eye look I gave you."
I hesitantly take the small tube from Ronnie. It's a beautiful color. I thought I'd feel self-conscious letting Ronnie do my whole look. But even though I haven't worn this much make up since freshman year in high school, Ronnie did it so everything is the perfect amount. Not cakey at all like how Brooke does hers. It's a smokey cat-eye look that looks incredible with my dark hair and tanned skin. She also put some loose curls in my hair that makes it tumble past my breasts in a glamorous kind of way. I look hot. I look like I should be clubbing in New York or something.
"God, I kind of hope there's some kind of male species there tonight. Even though it's Growers. Is that bad to say?"
"Yes. That being said, I'm actually feeling the same." I almost clasp a hand over my mouth, but Ronnie catches my snicker too quick.
"Ooooooooooh!" She howls and my face turns red. "Well we are going to be the hottest girls there tonight, I can assure you. You look stunning."
"So s-do you, my bitch." I hiccup, causing a snort to come out of her. "Oh my God."
"Okay, put on these hoop earrings. Please. We have to go all the way tonight." She hands me a pair of rather large hoop earrings.
The last thing I want to do is bring unwanted attention to myself, but honestly, I want to be anybody else than myself tonight. I'm on a level right now where I actually don't care. I'm strong enough to take care of myself. Nobody will touch me. "Are you sure they're not too much?"
"Hell no. You look incredible. Not trashy, just perfect. Okay? Besides, you're wearing a tank top and jeans. I'm the one in a cropped tube top. You will look like a nun compared to me, as always."
She right. However, I'm in a tight white tank top that shows a bit of cleavage. It's fairly revealing to me even if she doesn't think so. My jeans hug my curves in all the right places accented nicely with a leather belt. For what I look like tonight, I'm surprisingly comfortable. I'm just happy I have Ronnie with me.
"I'm going to pour us s-some, I mean, one more tequila." She giggles and runs downstairs to the kitchen.
I remain in her bedroom for a minute or two longer, admiring myself in the mirror after I put on the earrings. I honestly can't recognize myself. I look so different. It's not bad. It's definitely not a bad thing.
"Theo!" I hear Ron call my name from downstairs and I give myself one last look before joining her.
Let's do this, Theo. Let go. Let it all go.
We end up downing three more shots of tequila before the cab arrives. I've never been this reckless with alcohol. I've drunk more than I'm accustomed to already but I feel great. All logical thinking has officially left my brain. I'm quite fine with that. I'm starting to enjoy not being sober. That's probably not a good thing. So why am I laughing right now at the thought?
"Are you well?" Ronnie snorts from beside me in the back of a cab.
"Sublime."
We get to the club in a short 10 minutes. It's roughly 11:30 so I'm wondering if it will busy or not.
"I've been ghosting Ashton and he's losing it." Ron laughs from beside me. We're walking to the doors. It's a little chilly tonight but still nice.
"Why are you not responding? He's going to be so mad."
"I know I'm awful, but I love when he's like this. Does that make me evil?"
"Maybe." I laugh and she joins in.
