The strains of Life in a beautiful light by Amy MacDonald, played in an acoustic version, were heard during Spencer's and Lucy's first dance as husband and wife. They had decided to make that song the one for their first dance because Spencer had told her that in that moment she had been sitting in this garden, playing the guitar and singing this song, he had fallen in love with her completely. So, this was their song somehow. It described how they felt and it was true that their lives were much better when they were together.

"Uhm...guys, excuse me, please!" After another dance, Lucy had gone to the microphone that was standing on the side of the dancefloor. Her heart was beating fast. She had never sung in front of so many people and the thought of it terrified her. But she wanted to do that. For Spencer. "So, I...I'd like to sing a song. It's a love song – surprise!" The people laughed. "And...it's for Spencer. My...husband." She smiled over to him and his huge grin made her heart jump.

Luke had gotten up and now brought her the guitar. Lucy took a chair and sat down. She cleared her throat and started.

"When the rain is blowing in your face.

And the whole world is on your case.

I could offer you a warm embrace to make you feel my love.

When the evening shadows and the stars appear and there is no on there to dry your tears.

I could hold you for a million years to make you feel my love.

I know you haven't made your mind up yet, but I will never do you wrong.

I've known it from the moment that we met.

No doubt in my mind where you belong.

I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue.

I'd go crawling down the avenue.

No, there's nothing that I wouldn't do to make you feel my love.

The storms are raging on the rolling sea and on the highway of regret.

The winds of change are blowing wild and free.

You ain't seen nothing like me yet.

I could make you happy, make your dreams come true.

Nothing that I wouldn't do.

Go to the ends of the earth for you to make you feel my love.

To make you feel my love."

Spencer was sitting there, tears shimmering in his eyes, as he watched his wife singing a song just for him. And how amazing she was! As soon as Lucy had put away the guitar again, he literally jumped from his chair and came over to pull Lucy in a tight hug. While the guests were applauding and cheering, Spencer whispered into Lucy's ear: "This was just wonderful. Thank you, I love you so much."

"I love you, too", she whispered back and then buried her face in his shoulder. For a moment, they swayed to the sound of the music that was playing now until Derek came over, took the mic and interrupted their dance.

Much to Spencer's and Lucy's surprise, Derek held a little speech for them. Followed by Penelope, Lucy's parents and even Diana. Both, Spencer and Lucy, were so glad that Diana seemed to have one of her good days. She didn't have any schizophrenic attacks and could remember at any time where she currently was. She was having a good time and made the guests laugh with her speech.

"Can we finally get some of the cake?", Lily Simmons asked and Spencer laughed.

"Of course!" He grabbed Lucy's hand and they went over to the amazing wedding cake. It was time to cut it and go on to the desserts indeed. The children cheered; they had been waiting for this moment since the beginning, it seemed.

Together, Lucy and Spencer cut the first piece of the Disney inspired wedding cake. It was white with silver decorations and there was the lettering And they lived happily ever after on it. The confectioner had even painted the Disney castle on top of the cake. It was simple but beautiful and it was delicious. They had decided to make it a vanilla and strawberry flavored cake so they could be sure that everyone would like it. And so, it was. In the end, there was nothing left of the huge cake.

"Let's dance", Lucy grinned after finishing her piece of wedding cake and got up from her chair. She grabbed Spencer's hand and dragged him on the dance floor, where Lucy's parents, JJ and Will and Matt and Kristy were already dancing. Just in time, the song changed and it started to play Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Lucy smiled. She loved that song. And it suited her and Spencer's relationship perfectly. They swayed back and forth, looking in each other's eyes as if there was nobody else here except for them. Lucy still couldn't believe that this was all actually happening. She had just married the man she loved more than anything else in her life. And she knew that he loved her as much as she loved him. Could there be anything better?

The song changed again and now there was heard A thousand years by Christina Perri. The DJ was doing a good job, Lucy thought as Spencer wrapped his arms even tighter around her and pulled her closer. "Sometimes it feels like I've actually waited a thousand years for you", he whispered into her ear and Lucy chuckled.

"Same here", she replied before she placed her hands on his cheeks and pulled him into a long kiss.

"Okay, I guess it's time for a father-daughter-dance!", Penelope suddenly screamed and she was heard everywhere in the garden, even without a mic. Smiling, Lucy's father let go of his wife and came over to take Lucy from Spencer. He instead went over to Lucy's mom to dance with her. And as Lucy could see, Luke had asked Diana to dance with him. She looked happy. Everyone here looked as happy as Lucy felt. It was like her heart could burst from all the happiness.

"Are you happy?", Lucy's father asked, as they danced to another beautiful slow song. She nodded and couldn't hide another huge smile.

"I guess I've never been happier", she confessed and could see the big grin that formed on her father's face.

"I'm glad you found your happiness, sweetheart." He leaned in and kissed Lucy's forehead before they finished their father-daughter-dance. But Lucy didn't get time to take some breaths. As soon as her father had let her go, Luke was there to grab her waist and pull her into his chest.

"My turn", he smiled and Lucy just laughed. Of course, Luke wouldn't let this day go to an end without dancing with her at least once.

"You happy?", he asked and once again, Lucy laughed. "What?"

"Nothing. It's just, dad asked me the exact same while we were dancing", Lucy explained.

"And what was your answer?"

"That I've never been happier", she repeated her words. And like her dad, Luke started to grin widely. Lucy realized how alike her brother and father looked, especially when they laughed.

"Good. Spencer's the right man, I'm sure", Luke said.

"Well, it would be too late now if he wouldn't be", Lucy chuckled. But she had never had a doubt that Spencer might not be right for her. She had never felt like this before.

It was past midnight, when the party was slowly coming to an end. It had been such a beautiful, warm and dreamy day, Lucy didn't want it to end already. And as if Penelope had read her mind, she came over to the newly married couple. "I've got a surprise for you", she said with a huge grin and pointed to some floating lanterns Luke was currently preparing.

"Oh, my god!", Lucy squealed and covered her mouth with one hand. "Floating lanterns!" This had been one of the things she had wanted to do once in her life. And now Penelope had organized it for the most beautiful day of her life. Lucy didn't know what to say. Instead, she and Spencer watched Penelope distributing the lanterns to the guests. There was one lantern for everyone. And they all let those lanterns fly at the same time, so the dark sky was lit up with those beautiful creations. While they watched the lanterns flying up into the sky, Spencer wrapped an arm around Lucy's waist and kissed her cheek.

"I love you, my wife."

"And I love you, my husband."
