Let's Get Schwifty!
Harry's P.O.V
The rays of the morning sun danced through the windows and the beautifully transfigured ceiling as the early birds of Hogwarts sat down to their breakfast.
With my hands firmly clasped together and resting against my mouth I gazed distractedly at nothing in particular. My head lulled to the side as I thought to myself. My eyes felt tired but I was too focused on gazing at whatever it was my eyes had caught sight of.
A single fleck of silver.
My gaze held on and I watched tiredly as Malfoy headed towards the slytherin table. I watched him strut with the grace and confidence that only he could muster. You'd think that after he had made so many wrong decisions he might falter in how high he held himself. Almost as if he thought of himself as a king.
I scoffed to myself.
He sat himself next to pansy and didn't pause before readying himself for his meal.
The Great Hall filled with chatter as students filed in one by one. I vaguely noticed the sound of Ron and Hermione making conversation as they sat next to me. But I wasn't the least bit interested in what they were saying as I paid all my interest towards Malfoy.
He definitely seemed different. The air around him just radiated with something that I couldn't put my finger on. Arrogance maybe. I watched his swift movements in mild amazement. The longer I stared, the more I zoned everything else out.
I felt my teeth gnawing at the tip of my thumbnail. My eyes narrowed and I was left pondering.
Malfoy definitely seemed a little more strange than usual. Every fluid movement that he made was just dripping with heat that chilled me to the bone. I sighed in concentration and ran my hand through my messy locks.
I adjusted myself in my seat as I continued staring.
The sunlight bounced off of his golden locks. His nimble fingers worked around the table as he picked up what he would like. The slightest bit of pink tinted Malfoys cheeks. His plump lips moved graciously every time he responded to Pansy.
His entire aura seemed to have changed since the last time I had seen him. It was laced with a mystery that I longed to unravel. He seemed almost like a predator caging in his prey.
I almost felt a little jealous of how much he had changed. He never made a single sloppy movement and it was all so graceful. It could be compared to a womans elegance but the man I was seeing before me begged to differ. His jaw was sharper and his shoulders were wider and his muscles rippled with even the smallest of movements.
I let out a single breathe as he leaned back in his chair. All movements he had been making ceased and I didn't realize that I had moved to the edge of my seat. His thick brows furrowed and his eyes closed.
I watched confusedly as a smirk tainted his pink lips.
Next thing I knew I gasped in surprise as light grey orbs that were swimming with an entrancing blue and green locked on me. Shivers racked through my body and my face flushed.
I had been caught staring.
I gulped in apprehension as his gaze lingered on mine but I couldn't look away. Heat engulfed my body. Malfoy raised a single eyebrow and I watched as his tongue darted out to wet his drying lips.
I brought my hands up to my mouth again and made sure to not break the eye contact. I was embarrassed of course but now that I knew he was taunting me I couldn't back down.
I unconsciously pulled at the collar of my button up.
He seemed even more dominating than before.
I almost fell out of my seat when I realised the shade of his alluring eyes. They replicated the color of the sea. Murky with hues of smooth blue and green. They seemed to be flowing in waves. My mouth felt dry at the realization that his eyes were grey. Never had they been like this before. Always just bland boring grey.
Panic overtook me but it felt as if i was trapped in a cage of pure serenity. My heart was racing but not a single soul could tell. It was racing so fast, in fact, I thought of the possibility that I could be having a heart attack. My mind knew that I should look away and that I was in danger but my heart kept telling me that it was ok. That, if anything, I should get closer.
I felt as if I had no choice. I became just a shell of what I once was. Just locked inside and screaming for help.
Suddenly, I felt Ron shaking me back to reality. I was immediately released from my cage and it showed in gasps and pants as I looked at Ron.
"Mate, are you ok?" Ron asked but I was already up and running with Ron and Hermione behind me.
Draco's P.O.V
I sighed as Harry raced out of the Great Hall.
And to think I almost had him.
I had to admit, it was most definitely fun toying with him like I did just now. I honestly didn't think I would get anything out of this unfortunate ordeal but this was definitely a great perk. I now had control over Potter in ways that I hadn't before.
Not only that, but it was a huge ego boost in knowing that Potter thought I was attractive. After all, none of that would have worked if he didn't feel the least bit of attraction towards me.
And it wasn't only him! I could feel just about every single puny humans attention drift towards me the second I walked in. The reason for picking specifically Potter to mess with was quite obvious.
Why not?
I had spent six years just trying to get under his skin so why would I stop now? Exactly.
Potter had probably been expecting this to be an easy year now that the war was over but I would do my damnedest to make sure that it was anything but easy.
