I'll never get tired of the way she smiles at me. She looks at me like the guys in Disney cartoons always look at the girl they love. I don't mind the reversal, though. I'm definitely the damsel in distress most of the time.

I've always wanted to just know that the person I'm with is with me because they want to be, and not because I'm their last option, or the most gullible one, or something. And I finally know what that feels like. I'm not much of a writer, but... I'll try.

It's warmth, her smile on a sunny day, my hand grasped tightly within hers. It's that feeling of coming home, a place where you can be completely yourself, where you can finally shake off all the layers of lies and just live. It's feeling nothing but affection, of laying out all your secrets and then knowing they won't be held over your head.

And in those moments, like when she brings me a cup of hot chocolate while I'm working, or she just lets me cry on her shoulder, or when her hands run through my hair so gently, I know. I know that even though she's got my heart cupped in her hands, I couldn't have given it to a better person, because she won't crush it.

"Can you just, like, hold me for a few?" Lewis asked miserably, throwing himself down next to his friend on the couch.

Reflexively, Logan wrapped his arm around Lewis' shoulders, gaze still trained on the music countdown show on TV. Comfort and stability, Logan was a haven.

When Lewis looked up, it was only to not-so-subtly stare at the other boy. The familiar features had been memorized ages ago, but something felt new. A splash of color on the apples of his cheeks, a slight shimmer on his eyelids, lashes that just looked longer than usual.

Finally, the pieces clicked. Logan smiled as the program turned to commercial break, and at the same time he said, "We're in the top ten songs.", Lewis blurted out, "Did you get into my makeup bag?"

They stared at each other for a moment. It was evident now, and Lewis felt dumb for taking so long to figure it out. He scratched at his cheek to somewhat cover the flush of red on his face, mumbling, "You look really pretty."

"Harry did it for me. He left to get food while you were in there on the phone. Which... why the hell did you take two hours? Was it your mom again?" Concerned, Logan turned his body more towards Lewis.

And the little dumbass took his opportunity to curl closer, so close he was almost in Logan's lap. "I don't wanna talk about it, but it wasn't Mom."

He sighed. "Lew... You gotta talk about shit sometime."

Lewis, who'd clearly been about to start chewing on his nails, froze for a few long seconds. Finally, his shoulders slumped as he offered, "I'll talk if you wanna practice your makeup skills while I do it. I'll be your test dummy."

"Get your stuff, let's do this."

- i'm working on rewriting the thing where lewis is a teen parent and something i want to include is after he and logan break up, logan gets a role in a disney movie or something and that movie is the only thing lewis' kid ever wants to watch and it drives him up the fuckin wall

especially for the shit like "okay chase and ezra refuse to work together anymore so if you want both of them you have to make sure to keep the other a secret until contracts are signed"
or maybe ezra as the actor and ronnie as like head of makeup / and then in the same vein you've got logan and head of wardrobe harry??
bailey is the marketing / poster design guy and he focuses way too much on logan in his designs but no one's complaining
lewis does sets and props, and once they're done with a set of flowers on set he'll gather seeds to give to the actors or something equally cheesy

bailey does vlogs, tutorials, and let's plays, with a lot of informative videos about his mental health.
chase would have her own channel because some of bailey's fans wanted her to, and it's mostly story times and bar hookup stories.
lewis does covers, flower videos, and very rarely vlogs tours and music industry stuff.
i feel like ronnie is mostly activism?? like gay rights and mental health advocacy, etc. but then he does drag stuff too
ezra's content would slowly start getting more and more disturbing, from cooking videos to roadkill clips or something and most people think it's all a joke
and with logan i feel like other than the obvious music element, he might do random shit like surprising a fan with a phone call or something
