sierra & nix

these two are BABIES i lov them

they're from an unpublished story from my old account that was a collab with someone else, sierra was 100% mine and nix was theirs (but,,, i kinda adopted him oops)

in the original media, they were never to the point of being a couple, although they had like a shy flirtation going on and she kissed his cheek and cried when she thought he died.

( tbh,,, they need a reboot. that whole story deserves a reboot. if i did that, i'd take out the fanfiction elements and try it that way )

sierra - very shy and klutz and a little know it all good girl who's still a massive fuck up (wow relate)
nix - very misunderstood and disliked bc of his mom and his lack of finesse with his abilities.

(btw what was written of their old story was almost 17k words. and we hadn't even reached the main action. this was all introductions and not even all the rising action)

in conclusion,,,
sierra: still klutzy and kinda a know it all but she's so glad she's not in charge of this group of people.
nix: given the chance to be a normal guy he's kinda morphed into the meme dude for this au and that doesn't exactly line up with his old projection but,,,

Sierra ignores the buzzing of her phone in favor of pouring over her notes again. It's what her mother left her, and even now, as the chosen one out of all her half siblings, she still feels like a failure. And this book might be the key to changing that.

Finally, though, as she reaches the end of the section she's been studying, she hears a shout from the other side of the apartment. "Hey! Sierra! I need your help!"

Now, considering this is Nix yelling, and that she's had to save him because he accidentally froze the zipper of his hoodie before, she doesn't know what to expect. So she gets up from her desk and goes off to figure out where he is.

She uses the opportunity to practice one of the skills in the book: teleportation. It's actually pretty easy, probably because she's got access to all of her mother's abilities, but still.

Then, shit goes sideways. She closes her eyes for the next little jump (she's only been going a few feet each time), and then next thing she knows, she's freezing cold and stuck.

And before she can even open her eyes, Nix mumbles, "I see you've figured out I froze the entire bathtub full of water."

elianna

she's the only decent poseidon / neptune character i've ever made she's cute

she actually wasn't the central focus of any story, she was a roleplay character i added into so many of my dumb fanfics

she had next to no water related powers, she was afraid of the water even. she was just shy and lovesick and wanted to paint instead of fight :/

she deserves love from a guy that's not batshit crazy so,,, i might,,, take one of the other side characters and let her be happy?? idk ??

in conclusion:
ellie is a sweet but misguided baby and she's got to contend with abilities she didn't have before, as well as navigating all these interpersonal connections she would've avoided before

Elianna really, really didn't want this to turn into a argument.

This was all just a simple mistake, and although she didn't mean to do it, she fled like a damn coward. What else could she do? The thought of the confrontation made her stomach roll, so... yeah.

Finally, Logan finds her, cowering behind one of the many plants (thanks to Lewis and his 'design' input) now decorating the halls of what they've been calling 'New Olympus' (or some of the younger ones call it 'clusterfuck' still). In his hands, he holds a waterlogged notepad.

"Don't be freaked out," he says as soon as they make eye contact. "I'm not gonna yell at you. I just want to talk."

"I promise it was an accident," she says, immediately looking back down to the floor. "I just..."

He sits down beside her, putting the book on the floor in front of them. "I feel like there's a story to this that you want to share. And if you don't, that's fine, but I'm still going to need you to try and fix this."

Ellie sighs loudly, pulling a note out of her pocket to hand to him. She trusts Logan, just like most of the younger gods do, because he's never given them a reason not to. "I got this in my mailbox yesterday. I'm... really embarrassed by it but someone's noticed I've been staring at someone. And I was told to find this book. No one was supposed to see me looking at it and you caught me off guard."

"This is someone's journal, isn't it?" Logan asks knowingly. "That's all the more reason to fix it."

Silently, she holds her hand above the book, closing her eyes as she draws the water out. Somehow, thankfully, the pages aren't ruined.

all my hephaestus related characters were horrible and,,, yeah

anyway i kinda thought about ellie and caleb being together but?? up in the air lmao

aka thanatos and hades

ari was originally (i'm talking like 2014) ariella, one of the twin daughters of hades characters i used to rp with. ari was the goth twin, and her sister (with the stupid ass name aubryanna (which was based on one of my little cousin's middle names)) was the bubblegum pop twin.

and they were both blondes but ari dyed her hair black constantly and told everyone that aubry bleached her hair bc ari felt like a blonde child of hades wasn't right.

and another subverted thing for them was ari turned out to be the more squeamish of the two and afraid of death and seeing dead things while aubry was totally fine with all of the above and did scary things with a sweet smile on her face which makes her the more terrifying one

and then ben has been a side character on this account for a while, since the end of oil spill / beginning of starboy

the character of mine he's vaguely based on was a daughter of khione character i had way back when (fun fact: that stupid character was supposed to be best friends with the very first version of alex lmao)

ari: fake edgy kid that's probably gonna end up being under chase's wing
ben: i,,, kinda wish i would've used cody in his place tbh like,,, damn
